Brittany Murphy's new British husband Simon Monjack faces deportation after outstaying his work visa. The National Enquirer has exposed the Brit as an illegal visitor. And to make matters even worse, the publication has dug up information suggesting Monjack has a civil judgment against him and a series of felony arrest warrants. A spokeswoman at U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement confirmed that the Brit faces a court hearing about his future in America in July (07), and could be kicked out of the country. She says, "He's accused of overstaying his visa and could be deported." If Simon is forced to leave, what will Brittany do? Her new movie project, Sin City 2, will start filming next month.

Kurt Russell, who starred in 'Death Proof' has expressed disappointment over the decision to release the movie as a separate feature for European audiences. He said, "I'm disappointed for any audience that they won't get the Grindhouse experience. My prediction is that 20 years from now, you'll want the Grindhouse experience. It's something bizarre that you've never experienced before." Quentin Tarantino defended the new version though, saying that the film has changed "180 degrees so far as the emotion" is concerned. Producer Harvey Weinstein predicted that European audiences "and hopefully American audiences" will get a lot more enjoyment out of the films when they're seen separately. It's a shame that the package wasn't a great success on their homeland.

What irony. Lindsay Lohan has partnered with a vodka company to sponsor her 21st birthday celebrations in Las Vegas this summer. This woman attended Alcoholics Anonymous in the past but has now signed up with Svedka vodka for her landmark birthday on July 2nd. Her spokesperson refused to back up the report, saying, "I am unaware of who is sponsoring Lindsay's birthday, as I am not the one planning it." However, her lawyer Mike Heller confirmed the deal, adding, "This should be one of the best parties ever." Svedka supply will help sober her up? It looks like Lindsay has been out with a new man.. The Strokes have announced they will take some more time away from music. In a posting on their MySpace page, the quintet reveal they are unlikely to make any new records before the end of this year, and are not planning any live dates. However, they added that the band will not be splitting up, and would be resuming their musical career in the future. "The band are still enjoying some much needed "off time"," the statement read. "I wouldn't expect anything to come out this year. In the meantime, they are staying busy pursuing some other personal interests and are busy working/writing/rehearsing and all those things bands do in between albums. But, there are no immediate plans to release an album or tour for the time being." Come to our shores, please?

Paris Hilton is to be tagged with an alarm to protect her from fellow prison inmates. The heiress will be provided with a panic device giving her a 24-hour link to prison guards in case she encounters trouble when she begins her prison sentence at Century Regional Detention Centre in L.A next month. She will be kept in the prison's 'special needs' unit, which is reserved for public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates. Her sentence has already been cut from 45 to 23 days for "good behaviour", despite the fact that she has yet to begin serving it. Her reps announced that she was dropping plans to appeal against her sentence. 22 nights without clubbing will seem like months to this woman.

Eve pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two drunken driving-related charges filed after she allegedly crashed her Maserati into a cement divider in Hollywood. Eve Jeffers had been formally charged with driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher, stemming from her arrest April 26. If found guilty, she faces a maximum penalty of a $1,000 fine and six months in jail. Eve did not appear in the Los Angeles court Tuesday. Her attorney entered the plea on her behalf. The next court hearing is set for June 28. Tough luck, kiddo.

Simon Cowell has stunned A.I fans by revealing he's quitting the show in three years. The show's Mr. Nasty insists he won't be signing up for more episodes of the talent show after completing the 10th season of the TV phenomenon. He said, "I'll have done 10 series and your time's up. It's time then to do something new. I think it's time to bring in new people... Ten years is a long time." And, as for who he'd pick to replace him on the show, Cowell has one name in mind: "Donald Trump." It would be fun to see Trump man 'eliminating' more than one contestant by his own rules on random nights.
