Kylie Minogue has been attracting controversy over her new friendship with director Alexander Dahm despite his pregnant's wife insistence it is strictly platonic. The singer arrived in Chile last week and has since been holidaying with Dahm in Colchagua where they have been photographed enjoying boat trips and dinners. Kylie is staying at the filmmaker's apartment, sparking reports they are more than just friends. She got to know Dahm during her H&M bikini shoot in Acapulco, Mexico in January this year. But of course our pop princess denied having an affair with a married man - saying the speculation was offensive. She said: "I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man." Unlike a certain Martinez, eh?






Kate Moss will not let Pete use her 'pretty vacant' house while she's working abroad for some Sex Pistols party.. The junkie is simply desperate to throw an unsavoury 50th birthday bash for the late Sid Vicious. It's sweet of Pete to invite Sid back from the other side to enjoy a slice of birthday cake, but Kate would rather eat her own face than have rebellious ghouls and arty body fluids in her plush St John's Wood pad in north London. A source said: "So he was desperate to mark the big day in style. And he was so excited about raising Sid’s spirit from the dead. But Kate doesn't want any scandal and has banned Pete from anything resembling a party while she's away." Perhaps Pete should just mind the bollocks and hold the party somewhere else.

Kate Middleton has won a speedy promotion at work, just weeks after being dumped by a Prince. She had been employed as an assistant buyer with Jigsaw for only six months, but has now made the leap up to their design department as a junior. "Now she might even design her own line. That would be exploiting her name, perhaps, but they would make a fortune" a source claimed. It also turns out that splitting from William might have been the best thing for her career. "I don't think they would have done this if she'd still been with William because it looks like favouritism" the source added. At least things don't look that bad right now. 50 Cent has recently been linked with US soap star Victoria Rowell. According to In Touch Weekly, the rapper met the 46-year old actress on the set of military drama Home Of The Brave. A friend told the publication: "Victoria loves the edge that 50 Cent has." It's not the first time 50 Cent has dated an older woman - he previously went out with actress Vivica A Fox (42). He likes them older it seems. BTW, Dreamz and 50 look like long-lost brothers.


There are ongoing rumours that Amy Winehouse will get up close and personal with Daniel Craig in the next installment of the James Bond movie series. Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has offered Winehouse a part in the Casino Royale sequel after falling in love with the Rehab star's hit album Back to Black. Highly doubt this to be true but if she doesn't get the role, just get her to sing the theme song. Enough of those horrible un-Bond like tunes.


Orlando Bloom is set to make his West End theater debut in London this summer in a revival of David Storey's 1969 play In Celebration. He will play one of three brothers returning home for their parents' 40th wedding anniversary in the production, which will be directed by Anna Mackmin. The tiny Trafalgar Studios theater is currently being tipped as the venue for the play. Looks like a new adventure for this actor.




This sounds interesting. Instead of singers, bands will be the focus this time round. The Search For The Next American Band (working title) - airing in the Fall - essentially plays like Idol, with auditions and weekly eliminations, but with groups as contestants instead of individuals. Each week the groups will have to perform different musical styles and genres for the panel of judges, with the home audience voting for their favouries. The last band standing wins a multimillion-dollar record contract. Cecile Frot-Coutaz said they first came up with the idea after last year's A.Idol. "We sort of thought it was a no-brainer and asked ourselves why we hadn't thought of it before," she told Variety. "It's a natural extension of Idol." She added that although many elements of the show would be familiar, it won't have Simon Cowell nor Ryan Seacrest plying their trade. Might as well. They should get Bob Dylan & Jarvis.

Paris Hilton is already receiving death threats from her soon-to-be fellow prisoners. June 5th is the D-Day for her and some of the ladies she'll be locked up with at California's all-female Century Regional Detention Facility have started to let her know she won't be a welcome guest. A source close to Hilton told Life&Style mag, "These maniacs have been writing, 'We're going to get you,' and, 'I'm going to kill you.' It's horrifying. One person wrote that she's going to steal Paris' shoes when she gets to jail - and if Paris argues, she'll be beaten to a pulp." Hilton admits, "I'm very scared right now." She has learned she'll be housed away from the bulk of inmates at the jail for her protection. Beware of the difficult life coming up. Johnny Depp has spoken for the first time about his young daughter Lily-Rose's shock illness earlier this year, when she was rushed to hospital with the potentially fatal E.coli disease. "What got us through this wasn't the strength of Vanessa or me but our daughter and her incredible ability to make us feel OK even though she was very unwell. She was super-strong" the actor said. Depp and his girlfriend Vanessa Paradis kept a constant vigil at her bedside during the scare. Thankfully Lily-Rose quickly recovered. Johnny added: "It was a reminder to us of how lucky we are to be able to breathe, walk, talk, think and surround ourselves with people we love". Will this franchise work? The Halcyon Company has announced that another three films based on the killer robots are being fast-tracked into production. A script for T4 by 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris is reportedly already in place. It will focus on John Connor in his early thirties as he leads the human race against the android army who threaten to destroy Earth. A release date of summer 2009 is planned for the fourth film and Halcyon have promised to "reinvent" the brand with a new cast and plotlines. There is no news on whether Arnold will feature in the film.
