Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor have both signed up to feature in a new film by Woody Allen. Farrell and McGregor will be cast as brothers who turn to crime after hitting financial problems and then turn against each other in the as yet untitled film. It will be set in London and has been described as a romantic comedy with elements of Hitchcock... quite a combination. So will they be playing Irish or Scottish brother?



Unhealthy biology? Girls Aloud have sparked a health warning to young fans after showing off tiny waists in corset-like belts. A spokesman from eating disorders' help group Beat said fans could be encouraged to copy them: "They look unnaturally thin - they look like Barbie dolls." Their record label Polydor spokesman responded: "The girls are all perfectly healthy and are all different shapes and sizes. They have always spoken about and promoted healthy eating habits." The girls will star in a TV ad and print campaigns for Sunsilk from June.

Ouch. Orlando Bloom once broke his back when he was just 21 and was told he might never walk again. He fell three floors from a balcony and doctors prepared him for the devastating possibility he may be paralyzed for life. Orlando told Details mag: "For four days I was thinking this was it, that I would be living my life in a wheelchair, and then I thought, no, and I knew I would walk. I just knew." But fortunately for the LOTR star he walked out of hospital just 12 days after the accident.

Charlotte Church's mum has revealed that the singer will not get married until next year. "I can assure everyone that Charl and Gav are not getting married before the baby comes," Maria told Reveal mag: "Charl certainly won't want to walk down the aisle a pregnant bride. This is 2007, not 1807. She and Gav want to take their time and do it right - not be forced into a wedding. If she ever decided to sneak off and get married without us, me and Gav's mum and dad would kill them both!" Ha-ha?

According to Robbie Williams, the best way to say "I'm sorry" is by purchasing the most expensive gift you can afford to give. He has bought Joe Pesci a $231,000 Bentley - to make peace after their angry spat. The singer who was reportedly left "terrified" by the actor's angry outburst after his friends blocked the actor's drive - has tried to heal the rift with the lavish gift. A source revealed: "When Joe saw that his drive was blocked, he wasn't happy. He rushed down to confront Robbie - but obviously calmed down when he realized that the car was a gift to him." In return, the actor gave him a box of film props. Peace the fook out, eh?

The backlash made Duff take a long hard look at herself in the mirror - and she didn't like what she saw. She says, "I made a conscious choice to get in shape. I've always been a junk food eater, but I started paying more attention to what I put in my body and cut out foods like pizza, chicken fingers and French fries. Mischa Barton is the new face of a campaign which warns about the possible health dangers of too much sun. The actress is the latest star to front high-street chain Superdrug's skin awareness for everyone publicity drive. She will pose for in-store posters and stress the need for protecting skin from sunlight, which can cause skin cancer. Mischa said: "I spend a lot of my life in the sun and know how important it is to be sun aware and protect your skin. I hope that my support of Superdrug's important campaign will ensure everyone stays safe in the sun this summer whether at home, on holiday or even on the beaches of California." Be safe from the sun's rays she says.

The Kooks kicked things off at the Proud Gallery in Camden with an eight-song set with some new songs like Oil, Disappear, Always Where and Saboteur.
