Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are reportedly planning to get engaged - and then married just a few hours later. A source told Us Weekly that the couple want to keep their nuptials as secret as possible and believe the quick turnaround will help that: "They want to get engaged and married on the very same day to keep it very private." A spokesperson for McAdams has denied the claims. These two make a compatible pair.

Quentin Tarantino loved going on set while the other directors filmed their segments on new movie Grindhouse, because every day he would see another superstar actor appearing in the film. Nicholas Cage plays Chinese villain Fu Manchu (LOL!) in a mock trailer for fictional film 'Werewolf Women Of The S.S', which airs between Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror and Tarantino's Death Proof movies - while Bruce Willis appeared as a half-man-half-mutant in Planet Terror. The big name cameos were a constant and welcome surprise to Tarantino. He says, "To be honest, it was a big surprise to me. I didn't even know that Bruce Willis was in Robert's movie until I was on the set, and I was like, 'What's he doing here?' And then I saw his green beret and army fatigues and it hit me - he's not just visiting the set, he's in our movie! And neither of us realized that Nic Cage was in Rob Zombie's fake trailer until we read about it. But obviously they really wanted to be in it, and they're great." This whole Grindhouse package is simply top class! Missing reels, fake trailers, over the top acting, twisted gore, dark comedy - a must watch!

A first look at upcoming Get Smart starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway: [GSmart]

Keira Knightley has stalker fear.. about five of them. The British actress admits she is "frightened out of my wits" because she has no way of knowing how dangerous these men are. She says, "I'm being stalked by five men. I have no way of knowing if they could be potential rapists. It scares the living hell out of me - I'm frightened out of my wits every time I see one of them." Funny. Thought her 'Friend' is always attached to the hip on the streets all the time?

New tunes:
1) The Softlites - Heart Made Of Sound [mp3]
2) Foals - Hummer (live) [mp3]
3) Eisenhower - Honey Bee Stick To Me [mp3]

The Softlites possess a refreshing, chill-out vibe with this incredible track which won't take long to get hooked. Newcomer Foals have a distinct sound somewhat like The Cribs and their debut album should be of high quality. Eisenhower's track is quite catchy right from the start, bringing images of large garden fields and carefree 70s lifestyle.

Noel Gallagher wants to make a solo album! He already has a number of songs ready to record. Speaking to NME, Noel said: "I've got a backlog of songs that are slowly building up. I've got about four or five songs which are probably too far in the past as far as the band is concerned, but which could work on my record. I don't know for sure but it looks like its coming." Would be interesting to see how this pans out.

Geri Halliwell as a children's author? She began putting pen to paper during pregnancy and creating the book's heroine, nine-year-old Ugenia Lavender, was "like a rebirth". There will be a new song to accompany the series. Geri says: "One of the greatest gifts in life is actually to love what you do. For me, writing Ugenia Lavender is one of them. When I write these stories about Ugenia I feel like I'm going on an adventure. I have loved reading since I was a little girl. Books by CS Lewis, Enid Blyton and Oscar Wilde have always been my great escape." This should sell better than 'Passion'.

Matt Bellamy has criticised the organisers of Live Earth for using jets to transport performers. Madonna, Fall Out Boy, The Police and Bloc Party are being flown in on private planes for the event. Bellamy told 6 Music: "Private jets for climate change, not sure about it, that seems to be a bit on edge really - that's an issue really, so we need to think about it!" The event's organisers have already defended the concerts, claiming that any pollution caused by the jets will be offset by the promotion of their eco-friendly policy. Such irony.
