Bruce Willis was a happy camper as he enjoyed a birthday kiss from Courtney Love while celebrating his 52nd birthday last week. The pair were spotted together at the Roxy nightclub on Sunset Boulevard in LA last Monday after watching a performance by Amy Winehouse. An onlooker reports: "They were full-on making out." Courtney's spokesperson downplayed the interaction though, describing it as just "a quick hi, and then they went their separate ways." Don't think it was that simple.



Seeing pics of Lohan sobbing made Amy Winehouse have sympathy for the actress. Amy has offered her friendship to hard-partying gal, admitting she wants to give her a "cuddle". The Brit singer says, "I want to cuddle that girl. I really want to hug her. I saw pictures of her coming out of the doctor's, and she's crying. She's holding papers in her hand, like, 'Oh, it's a note from my liver saying, "Dear Lindsay, I've gone to Vegas!"'" This soul sensation has a lot of new found buddies during this American tour. Keira Knightley is devastated upon concluding the final installment of Pirates movies, fearing she'll miss new "family" members Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. 'Elizabeth Swann' admits the cast became very close since shooting began back in 2002. The actress says, "I was very sad because we have all been through a lot together since the first one. In a sense we've all become sort of a family so it's weird to think it's all over." Not many people can say they had smooched both actors before so she's one lucky gal.


Mischa Barton has dismissed reports she's dating Keira's ex Jamie Dornan, insisting she is single and looking for love. The actress believes her hectic schedule makes it difficult to commit to a relationship. Mischa says, "I think I'm too busy for men. I'm a single girl right now. I'm hoping to spend more time in England, so who knows about the future and if the right guy came along." She is now happily spending time with mum and sis in England.


This is hard to believe but Anne Hathaway finds it difficult to get the roles she wants - because her fellow compatriots Scarlett and Keira fight for the same parts. She admits competition is rife and it's always the same group who scrap for the best roles. Anne said, "There are so many girls in Hollywood and we all look exactly the same. We all have the same experiences and there are very few great parts to go around, so we all try to get them. There's healthy competition, of course." It's alright. At least the other contenders are top grade ones as well and not some socialites or has-beens.

It's official. Bond has his own passport in reality. The British Home Office have granted a real passport to Daniel Craig under the name of his 007 character James Bond. It was given to film production company Eon in order to add some authenticity to the successful film. To keep with security requirements however, the document is supposed to be returned to the Home Office. British Home Secretary John Reid says, "The Identity and Passport Service require such passports to be returned and destroyed immediately after use." However a rep from Eon claims, "They haven't asked for it so we'll be keeping it indefinitely." Clever. Wait till Mr Connery hears about this..






New romance? Kylie Minogue has sparked rumours that she's over her break up with Olivier - by spending time with a young boxing sensation. Her new confidant is David Haye, a British cruiserweight champ. Haye is said to have helped her get into shape following her successful battle with cancer. A source tells The People, "Kylie was heartbroken over Olivier and has needed her friend more than ever. David has been there for her 100 per cent and he now views her as one of his closest female friends. He has taken her out and cheered her up when she has been feeling down." Maybe there's nothing much than just platonic in this case.

There is a new shoulder-mounted camera system that automatically tracks head movements and can recognise hand gestures has been developed by UK researchers. Eventually, they hope the system could identify a wearer's activity and offer assistance, for example by accessing a telephone directory when they reach for the phone. Cool stuff.
