Please forgive him? Bryan Adams has been barred from performing at the memorial concert for Princess Diana for fear of sparking a media frenzy. The rocker once had a secret fling with her more than a decade ago - which only became public after the tragedy in 1997. Princes William and Harry have now banned Adams from appearing at the event to ensure that gossip does not overshadow the event. A source told The People: "The princes have nothing against Bryan Adams... But they want the concert to be free of any innuendo. It was decided that it would be inappropriate for Adams to appear." A spokesman for Adams has confirmed this statement.







Hugh Grant became Hulky Grant on Tuesday as he hurled a tub of baked beans at a photographer. He was walking near his West London home at 10 a.m. and lashed out when a photographer asked if he could take his picture. The star allegedly kicked him three times and kneed him near the groin. Photographer Ian Whittaker described how Hugh picked up a takeaway container full of beans and threw it at him. Metropolitan police confirmed on Tuesday night that the incident had been reported and they were planning to question Hugh on the matter. Perhaps he is experiencing some Jemima-related problems?




Hilary Duff has a new stalker! This time round, police officers moved quickly to take down a man who allegedly threatened to kill the pop star during her appearance on a Canadian TV show. Duff was being interviewed Tuesday by MuchMusic host Leah Miller on Live @ Much when a man in the crowd outside the studio started shouting at her. According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man vowed to kill Duff, prompting several police officers to tackle him. "The cops slammed his face into the pavement," the source said. Fifth Element star Milla Jovovich is set to become a mum, according to breaking internet reports. She is pregnant with director Paul Anderson's baby, according to gossip columnist Marc Malkin. The couple is expecting their first child this autumn. They met on the set of Resident Evil in 2002 and got engaged in March 2003. They are now planning a wedding in Italy, in a castle owned by Milla's friend. We can finally see some weight on this super-slim lady.



Shopping BFF pair Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie's friendship might cool off soon. The O.C star insists she is not too skinny, despite often being named as one of the culprits. She said, "I am a normal weight. I understand my responsibility to the millions of teenagers.. but the thing is that I am naturally this shape. I have a very fast metabolism and it is annoying when you are compared to people who are clearly not naturally that way." While Nicole has always insisted that she does not have an eating disorder, Mischa believes otherwise. She said, "I am sensitive to people like Nicole who have body issues, but I am always pretty much the same weight." Anthony Hopkins was once just another wild actor running around Hollywood. He understands the stars of today, many of whom are battling drug and alcohol addictions in rehab. Hopkins was an alcoholic during the '70s. He recently said, "When I was younger, at the height of my really self-destructive behavior, I went through a period where I drank too much and the rest of it. Electro-New Wave glam band Client make such lovely tunes you just have to press the repeat button. "No mercy, no pleasure, no sin.." will surely stick in your head for quite a long time. Post-punk Aussie band Love Of Diagrams has recaptured some raw sounds and should do well this year. Everyone's favourite red/white/black duo are back and of course they are bringing back the smiles on their devotees.



Thom Yorke has revealed that the band have compiled all of their new material on a CD. The band are going to listen to the work over the next week while they are on a small hiatus from the studio. The singer says that he is 'nervous' about taking a step back to listen to the material so far. Has to be yet another brand of crazy shite beats.



Editors have completed their second album which is due to be released this summer. Entitled 'An End Has A Start' the record will be released on June 25 and will contain ten tracks in total.
