Spark

Charlotte Church has decided to quit her pop career in order to focus on her new found TV fame. She is hanging up her mic for a good while to focus on her dodgy TV chat show. Despite The Charlotte Church Show receiving awful reviews, she has managed to score a 1.2 million pounds TV deal meaning there will be at least two more series to go. A spokeswoman for the Welsh diva said: "She will be recording again but is focusing on TV for now." Goodbye singing career? Most probably she wants to concentrate on being a mummy soon.

Jessica Biel has tough luck in getting the big acting roles because she is too...sexy. Being labeled the sexiest woman alive hasn't helped her career at all. She told Elle mag, "Parts that I really want aren't going to me. Like 'The Other Boleyn Girl' with Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. I don't want to say that there's nothing I love that I can have. But there's still the occasional script that the director doesn't want to see you for. They want that top tier of girls." Sometimes being sexy isn't a blessing? Competition is fierce out there for sure.

Lost will end after three more seasons! The finale is set in May 2010. ABC network announces plans to end the show after three more shortened seasons of 16 episodes each. The episodes will air consecutively, repeat-free, from February to May. Despite the increase, both Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse admit setting a three season deadline is "incredibly liberating". Lindelof says: "(It's) like we've been running a marathon and we actually know where the finish line is for the first time." Cuse adds: "(We've had) a road map for the series with all the major mythological milestones and the ending in place for a while. What we didn't know was how long we had to play the story out. By defining the endpoint we can now really map out the rest of the series in confidence. We sort of view Lost as a mosaic. Now there are only 48 more tiles that go into that mosaic, and we're figuring out exactly where they all go." Shortened seasons could only mean quicker answers and less Exposé stuff. The wait till February won't be pretty! [LostEndDate]

Double trouble? Anne Hathaway's real-estate developer boyfriend has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly spending another man's money on her. Billionaire Ron Burkle claims Raffaelo Follieri took $55 million of his money and lavishing it on Hathaway. Burkle alleges Follieri spent at least some of the cash on private jet travel for himself and Hathaway, dog care for their Labrador and shopping sprees. The money was supposed to be poured into development of land purchased from the Catholic Church. In a statement, Follieri says, "We believe we have conducted our affairs for the joint venture successfully." There's more controversy ahead for Hathaway and her boyfriend after he was allegedly spotted with an unnamed Roberto Cavalli model at a New York hotel recently, while she was shooting new film Get Smart on location. Looks like that Italian dude is in some deep manure.

Avril Lavigne having fun and giving some fingers:

Sony Pictures has revealed that Spider-Man will return for a further three films, after the franchise broke US box office records upon its opening. The third film was the most successful yet, taking 74 million pounds on it first weekend. Sony chief executive Michael Lynton claimed that there would be "as many as we can make good stories for". He went on: "Everybody has every intention of making a fourth, fifth and sixth on and on. When everybody comes up for air we can think about how to make the next one." Number 3 was just alright.
