Charlotte Church has vowed to shed the pounds in an effort to get down to a slimline size 8 figure. She has always been proud of her more rounded figure, but reports suggest that the star is feeling the pressure to look the part in the pop industry. Charlotte remarked: "I'd like to get down to my fighting weight of size 8. There is a lot of pressure on me to be slimmer. I get insecure just like everyone else does." Some reports suggest that Church feels under pressure to stay trim in order to keep Gavin Henson interested. A source revealed: "TV can add at least ten pounds on you. She really wants to be as trim and sexy as possible. Charlotte is also keen to slim down for Gavin Henson. He's incredibly health-conscious and wants her to be the healthiest she can. Charlotte wants to stay attractive to Gavin, so she is pulling out all the stops." Don't think she is overly fat. Just a lil chunky. A cut down on a burger or two would do the trick.


Lily Allen is to feature on Robbie Williams' new album. Speaking to The Herald Sun, Allen said: "I was recording with Mark Ronson, and he was working on Robbie's album. It was before anything happened with me. He needed a female vocalist. I said fine and did it and I think Robbie's quite pleased now. I think they sound pretty good, though I can't actually remember what they're called or how they go." Looking forward to her contribution in the Rudebox album. Lily has recently clashed with Peaches Geldof at the V Festival. She allegedly confronted Peaches after hearing that she had branded her a "cokehead". An onlooker said: "It was disgusting. Peaches was watching the Cuban Brothers when Lily spotted her and stormed right over. She got in really close behind Peaches and gobbed on the back of her shoes before walking off." Lily accused Peaches' father Bob of being a "hypocrite" on her Myspace page earlier this year. Meooow!! Lily has also pointed out that Cheryl Tweedy missed the point of her song about the G.A member: "I don't want to look like Cheryl Tweedy! It's tongue in cheek, it's meant to be ironic. I don't have anything against her as a human being but I think the portrayal of her being the right thing for kids to look up to is wrong. It was a joke that not many people got. Of course nobody really wants to look like Cheryl, they just think they do." Over to you, Cheryl..

Tatu are releasing a greatest hits album (already). It comes out September 20th in japan, and gets a worldwide release in october. Not sure if that includes the UK yet. The good thing about this compilation though is that it comes with a dvd with loads of stuff on it. The single "loves me not" will be released beforehand.

Daniel Craig has signed up for two more James Bond films according to reports. He is all set to reprise the role much to many fans disgust no doubt. However, it seems he'll be getting paid a hell of a lot less than previous Bond incumbent Pierce Brosnan. A source told Sunday Mirror: "Daniel is very much a poor man's 007. He's facing an uphill battle to win over Bond fans before 'Casino Royale' is even released, and it looks like producers got him slightly on the cheap. For a role like this you would actually expect him to get a lot more." Craig has been paid a paltry 1.5 million pounds for his first outing as the suave spy and will receive 3 million pounds for the next film. Blasphemy! How could they even signed him up before his spy debut movie is even released?


32 potential ANTM contestants arrived to the suite. Some stand outs include Dr Yvonne (winner of 3 cat walks mini competition), Sara who looks like Scarlett Jo, Jade, Furonda(praying mantis look-alike [which is a good thing in modelling world] who can speak different kind of characters on the phone) and Jade (potential!) hippy lookin' gal. All were given an individual test, interviewed by Ms Jay, Jay M & Tyra in the studio. Dr Yvonne tried to save Ms Jay from 'choking' on a tissue paper (WTH). Gina is a Korean who doesn't like Asian boys, doesn't mind being naked on photoshoots though her parents are quite strict about that and likes to contradict herself. Joenie (24 yrs old) is the one whose dad is a priest, was once a cage/amateur strip dancer who shocked the 3 judges with her background past, Leslie super-slim who talks a lot and Dani is the lovely one who had a verbal argument with Danielle regarding some personal matter. Looks like a catfight coming soon between them if they are picked.. Brooke (hippy gal who prefers not to wear make-up but something about her Jay M likes), Nnenna is from Nigeria who holds back a lot and quiet in nature. Next scene is when the Top 20 has been chosen where they will find out if their name is in the different make-up case boxes at the next hall.. all came crashing in to see whether they've made the cut. Dr Yvonne, Gina, Tenika, Jade, Brooke, Leslie, Leah, Nnenna, Mollie Sue, Danielle, Joanie, Katherine, Wendy, Alexius, Charisa?, Furonda, Sara, Rebecca, Andrea, Kari were chosen. After that, the three judges still had to cut down to 13. And so after another simple photoshoot and review, the final 13 are:
Top 13 -> Jade! / Sara / Mollie-Sue / Leslie / Joenie / Nnenna / Kari
............... Brooke / Danielle / Katherine / Furonda / Gina / Wendy
I think this season has a lot of potential winners. Most of them have strong modelling features and with some good coaching, the competition is gonna be tougher than ever. Rooting for Jade, Sara and Brooke. Underdogs would be Furonda, Leslie, Joenie, Nnenna & Gina.

Albert Hammond Jr first solo single will be 'Everyone Gets A Star', to be released exclusively through iTunes on Sept 4. His debut solo album 'Yours To Keep' will be out on Oct 9. He is joined on the album by Ben Kweller, Sean Lennon and fellow Stroke Julian Casablancas. Aaah. A nice song to get things started in another rock n roll journey.

Evangeline Lilly has put her tomboy image to good use by taking part in a self-defence video for young girls. The actress told pals she was delighted to work on the video, which teaches kids how to kick some butt. A friend of the Canadian star said: "Evie thought it was great that she could appear in this little film when they were in Hawaii. She is a really outdoorsy, rough-and-tumble kind of girl and she wants to be able to show other girls that it is good to be able to stand up for yourself." This a good idea to help those kids build up their confidence. The Others would not be happy about it, though.


Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have been having a secret love affair? Apparently, Hudson's burgeoning relationship with Owen Wilson was the main catalyst for her divorce. She has spent several nights at her You, Me and Dupree co-star's Santa Monica, California, pad in the last few weeks. "This is not a fling," says a source close to the couple. "Kate is crazy about him. Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it. That's why she wants her marriage to be over." Graham Coxon is lashing out at J.Blunt in an interview with BBC News. "Blunty? There's no humor in his music and doesn't seem to be much depth," Coxon sneered. "It's the sort of thing you'd write on a card if you were sending flowers. He's not very angry and perhaps too together. That's what a lot of people require for a quick lift. My record is about the ugly drives of human beings, particularly men. There are situations on the album that are so pathetic that they have to rely on humor. Perhaps Blunty is healthier than me.
