Speaking about the new material Ad-Rock said it would be their "best ever" album adding: "Wait 'til you hear the new shit that we're working on. The shit is hot." Adam Yauch confirmed that they expect to produce the record themselves though there is no time frame for a release date as yet. Nice to see these slick dudes still keeping it strong. And it seems they have made peace.. 50 Cent's rift with The Game is alive and kicking, despite the latter's attempts to resolve it. The Game recently attempted to end the feud when he announced his engagement to Valeisha Butterfield. But Fiddy still thinks it is not over when he released a mixtape featuring The Game dressed as a stripper called Doja on the cover. The move baffled many, because it came months after The Game's last attack, and the rift was presumed to be over. G-Unit cohort Lloyd Banks reveals 50 had bigger priorities to deal with first. He tells MTV, "Well, as far as getting back at Game... he was never a priority. (50) had too many business deals to take care of. But nothing's forgotten." Would rather see JayZ or Ja Rule on that CD cover. That would be nice.


Is it all over between Jennifer Aniston and Vince? They have never actually officially declared they were an item. But reports from American NW magazine claim Jenn pulled the rip chord on the relationship while newspapers in the States say the split came about because of Vince's mum. According to US sources, Vince's mum told him: "If he married Jenn, he'd be in for a world of heartbreak, because Jenn had not found "closure" with her ex-hubby." Meanwhile, NW mag claims she broke it off because she felt Vaughn wasn't the marrying type. A pal of Jenn is reported to have said: "She says he acted like a jerk, staying up all night with his friends, drinking and smoking." Maybe this is all a publicity stunt?

Walk the walk with Ashlee?? Ashlee Simpson will be the new face of Skechers. She will replace previous endorsers Carrie Underwood & Xtina Aguilera in promoting the company's line of footwear. "Ashlee is a leading force in the music industry," said Skechers president Michael Greenberg, in a release. She will appear in Skechers ads through 2007 and her first photo session will take place after her summer concert tour. "I grew up wearing Skechers. Like me, they are not afraid of taking chances and having fun," Ashlee said. "I'm happy to be a part of the brand and hope to add a few more pairs to my closet." Not bad. Will there be a new movie musical featuring Hugh Jackman & Scarlett Johansson? Apparently, these two good pals are in secret talks to team up for a new movie musical. They both starred in Woody Allen's film 'Scoop' and spent downtime on the set in London crooning their favourite show tunes. The Aussie dude started his career in musical theatre and admits he can't wait to sing and dance with Johansson. He says, "I have to say she's an amazing singer. We used to sing a lot off camera. She's particularly amazing for a young girl, loves the old standards - Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers and Hart, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra; that kind of era. She knows every lyric of every Rodgers and Hammerstein song ever written. So we used to do a few duets in the make-up trailer. We also talked about doing a movie musical together. So hopefully that'll happen one day". This Double J partnership for the Crooners era movie would be welcomed with open arms.

Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized yesterday (Wed) in Los Angeles. What the..? I've lost count how many times this girl goes on a medical trip. It happened during the filming of Georgia Rule. Her rep said: "She was overheated and dehydrated. She was filming in 105-degree weather for 12 hours." Prior to her hospitalization, Lohan was at the Chateau Marmont and then the nightclub Guy's. Confirms an observer at Guy's, "She was definitely partying. She wasn't over the top, but having a great time." A close friend revealed: "She has been shooting in 120 degree weather. She told me it was hotter than when she was shooting in the Herbie (Fully Loaded) fire suit." Lohan spent several hours in the hospital, where she was given a Vitamin B shot. She is expected to return to the set Thursday. "She is fine," Sloane-Zelnick said. Lohan is currently at her hotel resting. Too much partying without proper rest will ruin her health. But then, she probably won't ignore those dozens of party invites.

Charlotte Church has often predicted a baby would 'fuck up' her life. However, her mum, Maria thinks that kids may be on the cards for Charl and Gavin. Maria said: "Charlotte said she didn't want children a while ago, but I think Gavin has helped her change her tune about the whole thing. They're both still young, but I could see them having kids in about two years or so." "At one point, Charlotte didn't like the idea of having children of her own and wanted to adopt children from around the world. I think now she's found Gavin, she's reconsidered the whole baby thing. She definitely wants kids of her own." Hard to imagine Charl doing nappies without a hint of frustration. But then, she would probably let Gavin do the dirty stuff which he has to agree upon perhaps reluctantly.
