Oceanic Flight 815 allows sewing? Evangeline Lilly is furious about new security measures at airports - because it means she can't sew during flights. Evangie has complained that tight restrictions on items allowed to be carried on as hand luggage mean she can no longer enjoy her favourite pastime. She said: "What drives me crazy is that I can't bring my needle and thread on a plane. I really like to sew." Too bad, then. There is always the Sudoku numbers game..

It ended before it even began.. Brittany Murphy and her finance Joe Macaluso have called off their engagement. Brittany was spotted not wearing her engagement ring at the Teen Choice Awards, and when asked about her wedding plans she stated: "Everything is going wonderful, thank you. I'm just living every moment, you know, enjoying my day." It's amazing how smoothly wedding plans go when there is no wedding to plan for. [people] This is the second time Murphy has called off an engagement in just under 3 years; she was previously engaged to her manager Jeff Kwatinetz. Maybe she likes to collect diamond rings?

Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are teaming up to record a song? According to reports, the former bandmates have both recorded some parts for a cover of 'Janie Jones' by The Clash, which will be released to raise money for charity. The single will support Strummerville which, in memory of Joe Strummer, encourages the production of new music. It should be released before the end of the year. A source said: "It's still early days and nothing has been set in stone but they've both put down vocals." They are now on speaking terms again after a meeting at the bar recently. Maybe the exiled Libs magic can be heard again for a moment.
This is what our current indie musicians want to hear on 'Stop The Clocks':
Thumbs down to this! Charlotte Church wants to end her feud with Cheryl Tweedy. Their argument started when Cheryl accused Charlotte of stealing the G.A sound for her 2005 album 'Tissues and Issues' and Charlotte retorted, attacking Cheryl's vocal talents in comparison to her own. Then the row got even more personal with gibes about weight and boyfriend - and threats of violence. But now Charlotte has had enough. She told New Mag: "I'm bored of this feud thing. She looked really nice in her wedding photos. Good luck to the girl." Now, Lily Allen should create a song about Charlotte.
Cheryl Cole is planning to make a reality TV documentary based on her marriage with Ashley. The show will be a six-part depiction of the loved-up pair's day-to-day lives, where cameras are allowed to follow them at close quarters. An insider says, "Fans will be able to see how down-to-earth the couple are. They're just a couple of ordinary people living amazing lives." UK version of NewlyWeds. Cool.
