Joss Stone is said to be "incredibly flattered" after striking up a phone friendship with Prince William. He has been speaking to Joss about her upcoming appearance at the memorial concert, and they have struck up a strong chemistry. A source said, "She thinks he's gorgeous and is incredibly flattered. They've spent ages talking about which songs she should perform and have painstakingly gone through a list of Diana's most loved artists. They've settled on Queen and Tina Turner and Joss is incredibly honoured to be asked to perform them." Any possible spark that Joss is trying to ignite here?

More funds for this EPL club? Noel Gallagher has said he is considering buying Manchester City. The famous follower of the club said he may take advantage of its poor state and launch a takeover. He said he could team up with Mike Pickering, an M People member and music label boss. Gallagher declared: "We haven't got a manager, we've not sold any season tickets, brilliant! I'm thinking of mounting a hostile takeover - me and Mike Pickering. I reckon we could scrape together about 400,000 pounds in cash and I reckon we would get it for that." That's like pennies to him. They would also need a brilliant manager to avoid another shameful season.

Lily Allen is getting tired of updating her blog no thanks to the press. In her MySpace blog, the fiery songstress apologized to fans for canceling her gig in Austin TX, but lashed out at the press in her blog. "The thing is, im not going to write here so often now . this used to be one of my favourite things to do. I could come on here and vent how i feelhonestly and get feedback from you guys . But the tabloid fucks have ruined it. Everything i write here gets twisted and rewritten buy a bunch of lazy fucks who havent got anything better to write about . And the truth is I don't want to be in their fucking stupid magazines and daily fuck rags." This girl's gone berserk. [Lily-Mad]

Pete Doherty and Carl Barat have put their differences behind them to record a cover version of The Beatles' 'A Day In The Life'. The former band mates have finished recording the track and it was their first studio time together since April 2004. The collaboration occurred as part of BBC Radio 2's 40th Anniversary programme, for which a number of bands have reinterpreted songs from the album. Doherty said: "I heard about it and thought this would be a great thing to do with Carl, so I called him - you know, let bygones, auld lang syne and everything. He thought it was a great idea, so here we are. Sgt Pepper is one of my favorite albums." Good for them.

Forget business school, Donald Trump is ready to send some ladies to charm school. He plans to create a reality show designed to teach women how to live up to his high standards. On this new reality series "Lady or a Tramp", party girls are sent to charm school. Based on British show Ladette to Lady, it will feature weekly challenges related to etiquette lessons. Each episode, one contestant will be "expelled." He said of the show: "We are all sick and tired of the glamorization of these out-of-control young women, so I have taken it upon myself to do something about it. I am creating a real-life version of My Fair Lady. This show is all about getting a second chance and transforming for the better; the idea is genius and the show will be huge." Sounds crappy.
