Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been arrested by gardaí after a clash with airport staff last Sunday. The star - in Dublin to promote new movie 'August Rush' - launched into an angry tirade at Dublin Airport after being told he was "unfit to travel". Meyers was charged with being drunk and in breach of the peace. He was later released on cash bail and is due to appear before Dublin District Court next month. A spokesperson said there had been an incident, with a passenger refused access to a flight and escorted from "airside" back through security to the main airport. Ego in play?






Nicole Kidman told a judge today that she was "really, really scared" when she was followed in her car by a photographer. The snapper, Jamie Fawcett, is suing Sun-Herald for defamation over an article that said his behaviour towards the actress was so "intrusive and threatening" that he scared her. In court Kidman said she became worried about a possible accident when her driver, John Manning, told her that she was being followed by Mr Fawcett and another driver during the alleged pursuit on Jan 23 2005. "I was frightened and I was worried there was going to be an accident."







Mandy Moore and Matthew Perry together? They were spotted dining at the Amici Trattoria Italian restaurant when they started kissing and cuddling. A fellow diner said, "He was already seated and waited for her for 15 minutes until she arrived. He stood up to greet her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They were holding hands and being really close and laughing a lot the whole time. They looked really into each other." Mandy?? He could do much better than that.

Katie Melua has slammed Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty and Kate Moss for "glamorising" drug taking and claims she gets "angry" when she hears about them. The singer said: "My dad always told me horror stories about drugs and overdosing, so it makes me angry that people like Amy, Pete and Kate Moss are glamorised for their behaviour." Melua also spoke out about Winehouse, who once called her music "s**t", asking her to not be two-faced. She said: "If you're going to be mean, do it to my face." Does she think that they want to showcase those acts?










Prince William is reportedly planning to whisk Kate Middleton to an Indian Ocean island for a romantic Christmas holiday. The royal is determined make the festive period as romantic as possible and thinks a sun-drenched break on the island of Rodrigues, where the pair holidayed at the beginning of their courtship, is just the thing. A source close to the prince revealed, "It's the top of William's wish list. He really wants to spoil Kate and it's going to be his Christmas present to her."

The dance specialist is spear-heading the npower Greener Schools Programme, a five-year initiative designed to make British schools more sustainable. She says, "As a pop star, you build up quite a bad carbon footprint from all the flights, touring, lights and so on. When you read a scary article about the state of the planet in 100 years you actually think, 'That's my grandchildren' and you feel more responsibility."
