Knights Of Cydonia

Here is Hugh Jackman looking very suave for his role as a womanizing lawyer in the psychological thriller 'The Tourist'. In the film, located in Madrid, Hugh's character introduces his friend, played by Ewan McGregor to a mysterious sex club. Ewan soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman's disappearance. Read more.. Pushing the boundaries in her career? Scarlett Johansson is being pursued to play Jenna Jameson in her life story. She has been hand-picked by Jenna as her choice for the lead in a movie adaptation of her book, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale. Jenna is currently in talks with producers and hopes work will start on the movie next year. She revealed: "We're looking at Scarlett. She's my choice. I think she's beautiful." Precautionary measures would surely be needed for elder folks viewing this life story. Woody Allen especially.

Of course being away from each other during marriage can work out well. Take Ewan McGregor for instance. McGregor keeps his long-distance marriage alive by arranging regular sessions of cyber sex. The Scottish star, away filming in New York, plans to get over his loneliness by setting up a webcam with his wife Eve. He says, "You have to be selfish because of the unsociable hours. This time, we have sorted out some video conferencing, having dinner together with your laptops either side of the Atlantic. Nice idea. The sexual possibilities are endless." Aah, the joys of technology..

ABC and the producers of "Lost" are in discussions to determine an end date for the show! Nine seasons would definitely be too long. We want all the answers at least after 4-5 seasons!!! [Lost-End_Date]

Cool New Songs:
1) The Good, The Bad & The Queen - The Bunting Song [mp3]
2) Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby [mp3]
3) Charlotte Hatherley - Behave [mp3]
4) Lucky Soul - Lips Are Unhappy [mp3]

All with new albums coming up, let's start with The Bunting Song. TGTBATQ new album is a good effort with some incredible tunes. Imagine them as a 19th century indie band in cowboy wine bars. The Chiefs are back with "Ruby*4", which is a rambunctious number ala Franz-y. Former Ash member Charlotte wants everyone to behave and enjoy her new addictively great song. Pipettes' lovers should take note of Lucky Soul [official-site]. They are really impressive in creating heartfelt sugar-pop music and will definitely become a success very soon.

A mixed up 'online' world? Somebody has been fiddling a lot on eBay. Sophie Ellis Bextor is worried she spends far too much time on internet auction website eBay bidding for items she doesn't need. The singer admits she is addicted to buying items online. She says, "There was a stage when I was bidding so much that parcels were arriving every day and I had to take a break. I can't help myself. I always feel I'm one click away from the perfect new dress. (But) I'll search for anything that comes into my head. I've bought some unusual stuff like a pinball machine." Don't be surprised to hear pinball machine sounds incorporated for her future singles..

The truth is revealed. Cheryl Tweedy said that Ashley Cole isn't exactly wonderful around the house but it's not a problem because her mum lives with them and helps them out. When asked about his handiness around the home recently, Cheryl replied: "No. He doesn't do a thing. Maybe he'll make me the odd cup of tea, but that's it. Luckily my mum lives with us and she'll do lots of stuff." What a lousy son-in-law she's got there. Cheryl also dismissed speculation her hubby is gay as "ridiculous". She is amazed when strangers jeer at the defender and question his sexuality in public, but it upsets her because it hurts him. She says, "At first I laughed my head off because the suggestion was so ridiculous. But Ashley wasn't laughing. He says it doesn't hurt him when stuff is said but deep down I know it must do. It's more devastating for me because I love him and I know what he's going through." Hmm, can't recall anyone claiming this Aloud member to be a lesbo..

Some pics from Halle Berry's new movie "Perfect Stranger". [Halle-PS] Starring alongside Bruce Willis, Halle plays a New York crime reporter that gets caught up in the "world of obsessive sex and love online" when she goes undercover to crack the case of her friend's murder. This movie should be worthwhile.

Looks like they really need some dough.. Wet Wet Wet have announced details of a nationwide arena tour to mark 20 years since their first hit single. The Scottish stars will play a series of dates in December to accompany a new album. Their career highlight was with the 15-week chart topper Love Is All Around. In 1999 they split following revelations of singer Marti Pellow's heroin addiction and did not speak for five years. The band - Pellow, Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham and Neil Mitchell - went on to perform reunion shows in 2004 and recently played a New Year gig in Aberdeen. Looks like Take That has really given hope to some has-beens.. Who's next, Michael Learns To Rock?
