Looks like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are going to team up again. They are currently fishing for projects they can direct together. Matt said, "Ben and I found a project to co-direct that we might be able to get off the ground. We're just kind of on the hunt for something good. Directing feels like a natural extension, having written and then acted for all these years. It just feels like I gotta try it." A good start would be some action/spy themed ones. Just stay away from another Daredevil or Flash Gordon series.




Evangelina Lilly's house got burned down! Not exactly the best incident to coincide with the upcoming Christmas festivities. But even through her recent devastation, Evangeline has been a champ and put on a brave face with the help of Dominic. She recently returned to her ruined home after it suddenly went ablaze earlier this week. The couple searched through what remained of the rented house, only to find scraps of little to nothing at all after the residence was completely destroyed in just 30 minutes. Using flashlights and wearing protection gloves, they finally found a few personal items. Nobody was home during the fire, nor was anybody reported to be injured. The cause of the flames is currently being investigated. Tough luck, Kate.

Knew these boys were hip-hop lovers as well. Arctic Monkeys are hoping to record a track with Dizzee Rascal. Alex Turner came down to London recently to speak with Dizzee about the collaboration. The pair met at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals and became close friends. It's not yet clear whether the Dizzy will appear on their anticipated second album. No harm in having varieties, yah.

What relationship problems? Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett were spotted at New York restaurant Cercle Rouge last Friday night where an onlooker said: "They had a meal and got progressively cozier as the night went on. Then they started to make out in full view of the restaurant at their table and didn't really care who saw." Scarlett then flew to Los Angeles over the weekend, leaving Josh to attend a screening alone on Monday night. Maybe she finally knew who that mysterious girl was hanging out with Josh a few weeks back.


It is now Pink vs The Aussie goverment. The singer has made a video for PETA where she refers to the practice of mulesing - cutting flesh from lambs rear ends without anaesthetic as "sadistic". But Australian treasurer Peter Costello defended the practice, saying it stopped sheep dying of maggot infestation. He told the BBC, "Sheep are at risk of being fly-blown and dying...it's not a pretty sight. Mulesing is not a pretty sight either but it's more humane than letting a sheep die fly-blown in a paddock." PETA has argued that there are more humane alternatives. Looks like this battle will continue for quite a while.

Freed of all charges for this dude. A defamation lawsuit against Matt LeBlanc, accusing him of exaggerating an encounter with a dancer in a Canadian strip club, has been dropped. In August this year, Stephanie Stephens filed suit against Matt after his claims she was sexually aggressive, gave him a private lap dance were published in a '05 National Enquirer article. Stephens denied the allegations, said to have taken place at a venue in British Colombia, but has now ditched her lawsuit. Wonder what caused this peculiar change of heart.



A new diva singer coming soon? Halle Berry has just finished recording her debut album. She has reportedly been singing for some time, and is currently putting the finishing touches on the self titled album that will be released sometime next year. Berry told Ebony magazine: "I've always loved to sing. This album will show people that I can do more than act." Maybe she could then duet with her big supporter, Missy Elliot someday. Watch out Beyawnsay..
