Wind It Up

Hardcore Johnny Depp fans would know this but for the rest, he was once married back in the 80s. STAR magazine has some photos from his first wedding to makeup artist Lori Anne Allison on Dec 20th 1983 on Rivo Alto island,Florida. But the marriage only last for two years. Johnny met Vanessa Paradis in 1998 and they have been together ever since raising their two kids mostly while living in France without being officially married but that might soon be a reality next year.

50 Cent and Shaft have settled their differences after getting to know each other more on their movie set. Fiddy once stated that Samuel had refused to star with him "because he didn't want to work with 'unproven' actors". He claimed the actor "didn't want to play second fiddle... he knew that people would come to see the movie because of me - and he couldn't handle that." But now with them working together on the movie Home Of The Brave, their issues were forced to be resolved. Fiddy told Complex magazine that he no longer thinks Jackson is "a crackhead". He explains, "You see his intelligence. I got a chance to put my time in and absorb some wisdom." This means Mace Windu might now support him against rap rivals The Game, Jay, Diddy, Rule, West, etc.

There is a possibility Rachel McAdams might join the Iron Man cast, according to Cinemablend. [cb-rm] The role of Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, an executive secretary to Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, has been offered to McAdams. Together with Famke Janssen and Robert Downey JR, this ensemble looks quite attractive for a huge movie like this. She truly deserves a big role after the 'Red Eye' experience. Next year can't come any sooner for the movieland.

If your name is Ashton Kutcher, surely nothing fazes you. Like hot male models parading on fashion shows. But then, the husband of Demi Moore hates going to such shows because he is jealous of those models. (?!!??) After the couple's recent visit to 2007 preview shows like Marc Jacobs and Narciso Rodriguez, Ashton wasn't feeling too well. He told Harper's Bazaar mag: "It's my first instinct to beat them up because they're better-looking than I am." That is like Jose Mourinho saying he is jealous of Manyoo Utd's riches.. Ashton endured his stay at the events in the name of love, saying: "I was counting the seconds until I could go home and watch football."

Gwen Stefani and Keane member Tim Rice-Oxley have collaborated on "Early Winter," a song which features on her new album, The Sweet Escape. She insisted that Rice-Oxley is "Superman-talented." Gwen explained: "I wanted a ballad, like 'Killing Me Softly' or 'Time After Time,' and he said, 'OK, Cyndi Lauper, got it,' like he was taking my order." She was delighted with the result, saying: "It was so beautiful and addictive. It's just like one of the most beautiful songs ever. I love it." Quite true. You can hear the 'keane-factor' in that ballad. Her new album is not too bad and that bloody yodelling song is quite a grower.

Charlotte Church may have the Voice of an Angel but her cleanliness level is like a Beelzebub. The Welsh wild gal broke Cardiff's recycling laws after piling up bags of rubbish outside her 750,000 pounds house. So after several gripes from neighbours, she was visited by council staff who gave her a dressing down and showed her how to separate household waste from recyclable goods. A Cardiff Council spokesman said: "We dealt with her as we would any other resident." They asked other residents to perform an impromtu gig as well? Those council peeps should just advice her on getting a personal garbage collection truck parked outside the house.

EMOTO is excited to announce the latest addition to its roster of featured artists, the electronic duo Goldfrapp. It will represent Goldfrapp for original music creation for advertising, TV and film. Some G-songs will also be featured in a holiday campaign for Target. Howard Paar from EMOTO previously licensed Goldfrapp's music for the TV show Miss/Match and most recently performed two songs on camera for The L Word. "I have loved them for years," said Paar, "they are going to have an amazing career as creators of original music for the screen, which began with My Summer of Love. We are beyond excited." Cool. More Goldfrapp fever here, there and everywhere is good for the world.

From Brighton where The Pipettes reside, somewhere in Austin, Texas there lies another 60s influenced band called The Carrots. Nice to see another similar sounding group from this particular continent. Beverly/Jimmy Don't Cry are brilliant tracks. [Carrotts-Myspace]

This lady has been on a good behaviour and thus got her lucky break. Courtney Love has had her probation for assault and drug charges brought to an early close. Her sentence was actually three years probation, with an additional 18 months for the possession of painkillers without a prescription where it will end in 2008. Judge Rand Rubin told her in court: "You came very close to coming into custody. I think you've done very well. You've shown to me you are interested in a much less destructive lifestyle...[I want to] cautiously wish you the best in this matter." Better avoid any danger next time, love.
