Automatic Schmuck

Nicole Kidman has been filming in England thus her stay at the hotels are quite frequent. Frustrated by this, she decided to throw in a little kitty fund of around 12 million pounds for a townhouse in Mayfair, London for her to stay in during future visits. Nice plan she's got there, aye? A source told Daily Express: "Nicole's staying at the Dorchester Hotel because she's filming Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials at Shepperton Studios. Seeing the house was for sale, she decided that it would make sense to have her own place , as she spends so much time here." Her neighbours are some rich Russians and security is quite tight, which suits Nic perfectly.

Oh well, she ain't pregnant at the moment. Kirsten Dunst has laughed off rumours she is expecting a baby. There have been suggestions Dunst is pregnant, after she was photographed in baggy clothes and looking as is she has put on a bit of weight. However, this lady who is currently linked with Orlando Bloom has dismissed the rumours. Her spokesperson said, "Kirsten is not pregnant." Unless she is piling some extra pounds, it would be quite easy to spot a difference next time round.

Come on. Show 'em to the world. Renee Zellweger is an aspiring author and has written several books - but is unsure whether or not to release them to the public. Renee has recently finished playing English children's author Beatrix Potter in the movie biopic Miss Potter and has admitted that she is something of an writer herself. She said: "I have written every day since I could pick up a book. I'm not sure that it's for other people's eyes. Would I publish it? I don't know, I don't plan it to be for anyone else but we'll see... we'll see." Maybe the content might somehow be related to real life issues? That would be sweet.

Yessssss!! There will be Atomic Kitten reunion after all. The trio discussed this surprise move after performing together again for a charity gig in Liverpool last week. They are now planning a special New Year's Eve gig before recording new material in 2007. A source told The People: "They've remained friends over the past few years. They all wanted the chance to do their own thing but now feel the time is right to reform." Now this is what they should have done much earlier to bring some life back into the pop world. Nobody cares about some ho's dolls, promiscuous crap or pathetic donkey kanes.

Boy Kill Boy frontman Chris Peck spoke with 'Popworld' in a Q&A, where he was asked if he had a girlfriend at the moment. "Yeah, I'm kind of seeing someone at the moment, but it's early days so I don't really wanna go on about it," he responded. "It's difficult when you're in a band. There's lots of pretty girls around, especially playing with The Kooks. We went on stage on stage and there was, like, 20 rows of screaming girls. I was, like, 'My God, we should tour with The Kooks more often.' Whatever they're doing they're doing it right." Read more.. [BKB-interview]

Two 'friends' are keen on an unlikely reunion. Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston would like to be involved in a special episode of Friends. Speaking to Access Hollywood, Cox admitted that the pair "talk about a reunion show because we love each other and we hang out all the time. When we say reunion, [I mean] do a little Thanksgiving episode... why not? It sounds fun." A spin-off attempt called 'Joey' was axed earlier this year after only two seasons due to plummeting ratings. Not really sure it will happen but let's hope the gang can work something out.

Since A.Jolie and Madonna began an adoption trend, there have been other celebrities doing the same thing. Maybe now Ms Emma might join in as well. But then, her situation is a little different. In 2000, Emma Bunton had to have pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix. Shortly after, she discovered she had endometriosis, a condition which causes the lining of the womb to come away and makes it difficult for the sufferer to become pregnant. Although Emma is hopeful she will conceive, she and Jade are ready to give a home to an underprivileged child. She said, "I'd like to have a baby soon. Maybe in the next few years. I get broody. My endometriosis is still a worry. But I've learned to be positive. Of the people I know with it, 90 percent have gone on to have children. Obviously I'd like to try for my own first. But I would be open to adoption." It is probably time for a Baby Jr. to arrive soon.

This should be tasty.. Speculation is rife Prince William is preparing to announce a Christmas engagement to his girlfriend Kate Middleton. It is strongly suspected she will join the heir to the British throne at the Royal Family's Christmas dinner, with Middleton also apparently enjoying a private audience with the Queen last weekend. A high-level source tells The Mail, "A Christmas engagement between William and Kate is the talk of the royal household. The reason Kate has been granted this privilege is because she and William are getting engaged. The Queen adores Kate and is quite certain she is the right match." Stay tuned for this royal development, folks.

Listen to their new single 'Kingdom of Doom':

Do you ever pretend to play piano along to a song on the radio by making imaginary chord shapes on your desk? Digital Information Development have created a virtual musical keyboard for the desktop that turns any flat surface into a piano. It uses two laser modules - one to draw the keyboard onto the desk, and the other to detect your keypresses. It has the ability to detect chords, and has a few different voices too; organ, pipe organ and harpsichord. The keyboard, priced at US$130, will be released in Japan by the year end.
