The 22 year old said recently: "Do I ever get nervous about this, right now, being the pinnacle of my career? Yeah I do. At the end of every movie I think 'Wow - this is the last one! Nice working with you.'" Unless she herself wants to retire from showbiz, expect dozens of movie deal offers coming through. And Xmas does come early for this planet when Scarlett said, "I'm not opposed to doing nudity, it would just have to be the right project, maybe some sensational European art film." Be careful not to bump into the decorations while performing your dance of joy.

The end of the road for Tobey-Man? Looks like Tobey Maguire might consider hanging up his Spandex suit for good after Spiderman 3. He is keen to spend more time with daughter Ruby and confesses it would be a good time to retire from the hit franchise. He says, "This might be a good place to stop - I am not tied contractually to any more Spider-Man movies. The odds were in favor of this being the last one." Last month, Kirsten Dunst hinted she too wants to move on from acting and take up art instead. She said, "I'm not the type of actress who does movie after movie." Will be a tough time searching for their successors if it really happens for them both.


Renee Zellweger credits her slim figure to her work. She says that the 20-minute lunch breaks she was allotted while making another movie, Case 39, helped her stay fit. She said, "That's all we got on the set. At that point, I was like, you know, forget it. And running around - everywhere, that helps." Renee joked that she finds out what diet she's on by reading media reports. "I'm like, oh, oh, I'm doing that diet now - that's fantastic! Good for me!" But with Bridget Jones number 3 coming up, she will have to convert the 20 mins to 20 hours piling on those burgers.

Hiding the truth? Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo has denied rumours that he's dating Jessica Simpson but admits to having a crush on her. He said: "So I don't have to answer any more questions about this: I'm not dating Jessica Simpson, nor have I gone on a date with her." Papa Joe added: "Jess has never met Tony but I am friends with him." Maybe he still needs more time evaluating the pros/cons before allowing football man to date his little princess. Not to worry. There is sure to be photo evidence if Tony wishes to pursue this blonde ambition.

Oh, so Marissa died in a car accident in the final episode. That aside, Mischa recently performed an impromptu singing session at a London club. Clutching a microphone and a bottle of champagne, she belted out the 'Oops! I Did It Again' number on stage. Revelers then got to watch her perform a sexy dance routine. Maaan, that accident does an effect on this gal.

Meanwhile, her pals Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody have decided to call it quits. "They've been done for a few weeks," a friend close to the couple tells Life & Style. "They are just done. That's all there is to it. There's no drama. They just ended it." That may explain why Adam showed up solo to a party on Nov. 28 and has been spending a lot of time without Rachel at the clubs with his guy friends. The low-profile couple started dating during O.C's first season. Well, they do look cute together then.

Older statesmen Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are now officially single. L.A Superior Court Judge Marjorie Steinberg approved the dissolution of marriage on November 17 and the couple will now share joint visitation rights of their two daughters. They were married on June 15, 2002. Richards filed for divorce citing "irreconcilible differences" when she was six months pregnant with the couple's second child. So now, Denise can continue her romance with Richie Sambora while Charlie can get all snuggley with real estate investor Brooke Mueller.

Katharine McPhee spoke with MTV News about the new look and sound on her debut album. "It's a really great thing," McPhee said of her image makeover. "I think people didn't know what I was going to be. Was I going to be the Celine Dion, the Barbra Streisand or those P.Dolls?" McPhee said the sound will be a combination of the three. "So now we've been building the songs like how you would if you were making a record if you weren't on Idol and you would take five months. Poor thingy. Jennifer Connelly received a serious neck injury while filming a car chase with Leonardo DiCaprio on the set 'Blood Diamond' and had a hard time adjusting to the pain medication she was prescribed. Jennifer explains: "I got a pretty serious neck injury, which was a shock, because I've never had a real injury before. It says on the label, 'Do not operate any heavy machinery', but, in my case, it should have been, 'Do not leave the house under any circumstances'. I do remember getting irritated with Paul Bettany (husband), who was kicking me under the table, because... he could clearly see the person I was talking to was the editor of the film." He must have had a torrid time controlling dizzy Connelly, who then tried to take over the DJ because she thinks she could do better at that. By now, Paul felt terrible watching all these and gracefully dragged her home before things got worse.
