Hooligans On E

Billboards advertising 50 Cent's new film are set to be removed in L.A. communities, following complaints that they glorify gun violence. County Supervisor Michael Antonovich sent a letter to distributor Paramount Pictures urging that the billboards be removed, starting with one outside an Altadena school, which had recently campaigned to curb gang activity in the neighbourhood. Activists in the southern neighbourhood of Hyde Park staged a rally calling on Paramount regarding the matter. The movie, which opens on Nov 9, follows 50 Cent playing a drug dealer who abandons his criminal lifestyle to pursue a music career. Ok, so now the situation is no more 'outta control'.

Charlotte Church has been hotly-tipped to star in a new TV series as a raunchy devil-worshipper. She is currently in talks to play a vampish teenager in 'Torchwood', a 'Dr Who' spin-off for adults. An insider said, "Charlotte is a big fan of Dr Who and she was thrilled when we approached her with the part. The role is ideally suited to her - she is beautiful but can be very vampish when she wants". Another source claimed : "We couldn't think of anyone better than Charlotte to play a teenage devil worshipper". Hmmm. From the 'voice of an angel' days to being a devilish character on TV. Still 'finding her own way' to becoming the most talked about/controversial Welsh soprano?

Kylie Minogue can't wait to be the "best auntie" she can. Currently being treated for breast cancer, she is overjoyed for her brother Brendan who is to become a father. However, Kylie's joy is said to be "tinged with sadness" after doctors told her she would probably never have children because of the effects chemotherapy treatment has on fertility. A friend said: "Kylie is thrilled for Brendan - but the news was tinged with a little sadness. She is determined not to feel sorry for herself and will concentrate on being the best auntie she can be. She can't wait to hold the baby in May." Kylie could still have a slim chance of conceiving if she fully recovers from the cancer, but may have to undergo fertility treatment. She's got to be certain about this situation if she seriously wants a baby. Good luck.

Is Ace Of Base coming back?? They've been performing at the "Night Of The Proms" in Belgium lately. Has anyone saw the sign?

Take That - Never Forget album is out on 14th Nov! Time to get into the 'cheesy' vintage boyband mode soon..And to Bernard - still harbouring thoughts of forming our own boy band?

Here's Girls Aloud presenting the world with their 'Aloud Barbies'. The dolls will be in major toy stores in time for Christmas. I've posted about this before.

Girls Aloud - Chemistry album! Out on Dec 5th!!

This new Ashlee Simpson B-side track is quite fantastic i must say. Has a nice beat to it.

Robbie Williams has turned to voyeurism (what the..), and enjoys watching his London neighbours take drugs and walk around with no clothes on. He owns a 15th floor penthouse apartment overlooking the British capital's upmarket Chelsea Harbour and likes to spend his time monitoring the personal habits of the wealthy people who live around him. Speaking from his balcony, Williams said, "See that apartment over there? A woman does coke there every night. And see that apartment there? A really fat old ugly bloke walks around naked and never draws his curtains."
"And down there, that's where this black woman - nothing wrong with that - naked - nothing wrong with that - came out dancing on her balcony. She started waving to me. Then she started singing and I thought, 'I'm buggered if I'm waving back now.'"
"I can't believe I left my night vision binoculars in LA." A new passion for Le Robb?

Andrea Corr has just launched the 18th Foyle Film Festival, and will be in Derry for the opening-night screening on November 11 of "The Bridge", in which she is the main star. The movie runs for approximately 17 mins and was filmed at Shepperton Film Studios during Mar 05. The film tells the story of a young woman, Mary, who was recently dismissed from her job as a hospital psychologist, following a patient's suicide. Mary then meets an old man who has given up on his life after the death of his wife. She feels connected to this man and through her own fears and failures, reaches him in time and saves his life. .

Kate Moss has checked out of the rehab center. The supermodel left the Meadows Clinic in Arizona earlier this week after undergoing a month of therapy treatment. Her model agency said she was looking forward to getting back to work. Yup. Good for her!

Back home in London, Pete Doherty has written a musical ode to his favourite British soccer team Queens Park Rangers, and hopes to release it if they ever win the prestigious FA Cup. Doherty was inspired after hearing that composer Michael Nyman has been commissioned to write an official anthem for the club, to be played at the start of all their matches. He said, "Fair play to Michael Nyman for composing the song for Queens Park Rangers to come out on to the pitch but I've already written a song for when they win the FA Cup. He could do the B-side. My song is a ska number. (!!!!) I'm quite disappointed that I wasn't asked to write the QPR anthem. I'm doing my best for them. I've got a picture of the missus (Kate Moss, who else?) in the Rangers shirt inside the sleeve of the new Babyshambles album, Down In Albion. Now that is fantasy football." A Katy QPR jersey pic down in albion? Up the morning to that! There's a better chance of Liam G buying the Babyshambles album than QPR winning the FA Cup btw..

Which brings me to this case about Kelly Osbourne planning to 'breath new life' into her ailing pop career by copying Kylie. Osbourne is convinced she shares many similarities(?????*100000) with the petite Kookachoo star, and hopes her recent shift towards Minogue's favoured electro pop, will win her some fans. She said : "I have learned lots about performance by watching old videos of Kylie." And she intends to rival Minogue's status as the most perfect bottom in pop, with raunchy sex-themed videos. She adds: "Sex really does sell, so I'll be doing loads of that." Future teens will get a warning message from their concerned parents, something along the lines of "I want you to stay off the bad stuff, like X-rated mags, internet pornography, drugs...and..yeah, those CDs by that woman, whats her face...oh yeah,..Kelly Osbourne. Please." Maybe Fear Factor can introduce a new stunt - watch three K.Osbourne electro-pop videos without vomiting.

Babyshambles, The Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things live sessions songs galore!!

Gorillaz - Dirty Harry, the new single from two-dimensional superstars Gorillaz, will be released by Parlophone on 21st Nov. B-sides include new tracks Hongkongaton and Murdoc Is God, plus an exclusive live performance of album track All Alone and the Chopper remix of Dirty Harry. This is a very cool video! Those kids remind me of Rugrats.

Arctic Monkeys' MySpace site!

I like to visit this Emerald Wizard Radio site for lyrics and new indie bands. Those who has updated new lyrics from up and coming albums should contribute to them.
