Helena Christensen, Heath Ledger's supermodel ex-girlfriend was on her way to visit the star when she discovered he had died. She left him a phone message and was heading to his Soho apartment when news of his death from a suspected drug overdose broke on Tuesday (22 Jan) afternoon. Christensen said, "I am just beyond sad at this point and shocked. He was so full of life, so electric. This is immensely sad".










--The Medical Examiner's spokesperson has announced that the initial autopsy proved "inconclusive".--

Jack Nicholson has hinted he warned tragic Heath Ledger against taking on the role of The Joker. Ledger publicly declared himself exhausted and sleep deprived in November following the grueling shoot for The Dark Knight. He also resorted to taking sleeping pills - in a desperate bid to catch up on rest. When asked for his reaction, Nicholson simply replied, "I told him so."

Christina Aguilera and husband have reportedly celebrated the birth of their first child - Max Liron Bratman - by inducting him into Judaism with a traditional bris ceremony held on Sunday. The celebration - which is held to formalise the baby's middle name, which means 'my song' or 'my joy' in Hebrew - was attended by family and friends, who then joined the couple for a celebratory meal.
