Cuffed goes my heart? Not long after splitting from Jemima, Hugh Grant has been linked with yet another woman. Literally. An attractive brunette charged at him from a crowd of fans and clamped herself to him with a set of metal handcuffs. The woman struck as he was posing for photographs with fans at the Dutch premiere of 'Music And Lyrics'. Dumbfounded, Grant was forced to walk the red carpet and sign autographs while still chained to the mystery admirer. He spent a full 10 minutes attached to her as firefighters struggled to release him. An onlooker said: "She appeared from nowhere and Grant couldn't believe it was happening. He did look relieved when he disappeared into the theatre - she could have been a maniac." The woman was Cielke Sijben, a journalist working for Dutch TV network. Despite his newfound freedom, Grant was forced to spend the rest of the night still wearing one half of the handcuffs. You just wonder.. was that lady doing her job or just fulfilling some dreams?


Charlotte Church has sparked rumours she is pregnant after she abstained from alcohol at her 21st birthday party. The singer stayed sober as she celebrated the landmark occasion with close family and friends on Wednesday, fuelling speculation she was expecting. Charlotte is said to have cancelled a big bash at Cardiff's Hilton hotel, choosing instead to have the intimate gathering at her home. She has also given up smoking and friends claim she has put on weight, despite being on a diet. No wonder she would not be surprised if he gets down one knee anytime soon.

This is brilliant!! Warner Bros Pictures is looking to make a feature based on super team the Justice League of America, hiring writing duo Kiernan and Michele Mulroney to write the script. The feature film is bound to include some combination of DC's most iconic superheroes, although the studio wouldn't confirm which ones they might be. It's unlikely that the studio and DC Comics, would opt to feature second-tier characters. "The Justice League of America has been a perennial favorite for generations of fans, and we believe their appeal to film audiences will be as strong and diverse as the characters themselves," Jeff Robinov said. To a large degree, casting will depend upon the story arc for the JLA feature and at what point in the superheroes' lives the plot takes place. [JLeague-Movie]

She married bartender Jeremy Thomas for just a month in '94 when she was 19 then was married to Tom Green for just six months in '01 before he filed for divorce. Drew told Jane mag: "If I had known what I know now, I would say to myself, 'Do not get married before you're 30, and be together a minimum of five years first'. I feel like I’m the least authoritative person to talk about marriage, because I sorta screwed that whole thing up." Third time's a charm?

Earbud trainer sounds good. Joggers need no longer worry about diligently monitoring their health instead of listening to music as they run. US inventors Jeffrey Lovejoy and Joseph Giordano have applied to patent modified earbud headphones that measure heart rate. The system interjects advice and encouragement (or warnings to slow down) through the same headphones over the music, removing the need for the jogger to keep one eye on a wrist-mounted heart monitor. These headphones have a pair of conductive pads that press against the skin inside a wearer's ear and monitor heart activity like a pair of electrocardiogram electrodes. Software on a connected personal stereo keeps track of the runner's heart rate and intones key statistics. The heart rate is continually checked against stored values for the jogger's height, weight and age so the wearer can be given the best personal training tips. A more advanced design could shine light through the ear lobe to check blood oxygen content as well. Clever.

The ego has "amazed" rehab staff with a speedy recovery. Robbie checked in to the Meadows center twelve days ago his dad Pete Conway confirmed that the singer has coped excellently with his treatment and could be home within days. "Robbie is in good humour, cracking jokes and on good form," Pete said. "I'm extremely positive about him - he is doing well. I speak to him every day and he is in fine fettle. We are hoping to have him out of rehab very soon." Hmm, wonder if he knows the results of reality shows, oscars, brit awards, etc. Or more of the ongoing 'take that wants you back' stories.

Lothario Orlando, first worked his magic on Penelope. A source told the Daily Mirror, "Orlando and Penelope flirted outrageously while playing pool. Penelope seemed more than a little smitten and later they retired to a corner for drinks - they couldn't keep their hands off each other." After Penelope had left, he turned his attention to Ray Winstone's daughter, Jaime. The source added, "Orlando was talking to a pal when Jaime came over and gave his friend a hug.
