Red Mist

This Prada Angel has issues back then. Anne Hathaway says she suffered from anxiety and depression in her teens, but that she rejected medication and instead worked through her troubles. "I said to Mom the other day, 'Do you remember that girl? She has now gone, gone to sleep." Anne tells Tatler mag: "But then I thought, 'I so remember her, only she is no longer part of me.' " Speaking in the third person it seems. Currently staying in New York City, Anne can't see herself living in Los Angeles. Why? "I am too pale and I don't drive." So this means there are more snow white princesses in NYC.

Pete Doherty is bummed out! He has been banned from attending the Brit Awards next week because Kate is jealous of his friendship with Miss Lily. Though the two musicians began on less than complimentary terms, they have developed a close friendship in recent months and also performed together at a London festival last summer. Kate is reported to be increasingly jealous of his constant praise for Lily. Things reached a peak when she found a gift from Lily among Pete's stuff. A source said: "Kate made it clear that there was no way that Pete was going to the Brits if Lily was going - especially as she wasn't going herself. Pete was gutted as he was looking forward to it." Maybe Kate will let him watch it on TV instead? But even then it wouldn't be alright, still...

Vic, Geri and Emma had a mini Spice Girls reunion in London this week when the trio were spotted dining together at Nobu in the Metropolitan Hotel in Mayfair. An onlooker at Nobu commented: "They shrieked as they met. They practically skipped to their table. It was all very girly." They were reportedly out celebrating the news that Emma was pregnant and expected to have the baby in the summer. At least three of them are keeping up with each other.

Keira Knightley says she wants to take time off from acting and desperately needs a rest. She told Hello mag: "I've been working on films back to back for the past few years and I need a break to get a bit more of my own life back." Regarding her looks she said: "I'm completely aware my face gets me work. But there are problems arising from it. I've been to photo shoots where I was told by the photographer that he'd kept my legs out of shot so I don't need to worry about them. Then I've had make-up artists who've told me they need to shade the top of my nose so it won't look so broken. I was once rejected for a job because someone said I had a funny mouth. They are all things you start to focus on when you to go to some event when you think about your weird mouth, a broken nose and horrible legs." Even stunning people like KK have self-doubts.

This is one responsible wife.. Nicole Kidman wants to make sure her hubby feels right at home with some candles to set the mood. She recently ordered Australian beeswax candles shipped to her Tennessee home for V-Day. Keith will be romanced with a dozen of organic Northern Lights candles, designed to maintain inner-balance and harmony. They are made from organic Australian beeswax and cosmetic grade macadamia nut oil. The country singer was recently released from the Betty Ford clinic while Nicole is recovering from a recent car crash while filming "The Invasion."

Do scantily-clad cheerleaders distract you during a rugby game? Russell Crowe certainly thinks so. The Gladiator man says pom-poms are out and drums are in at the rugby league club he part-owns in Australia because the cheerleaders are a detraction and make spectators uncomfortable. The South Sydney Rabbitohs club would be dispensing them and will have a team of percussionists instead to gee-up supporters. Crowe said the club had become concerned the cheerleaders - whose uniform includes fishnet stockings and tasselled mini-skirts in the white, green and red team colours - were inappropriate entertainment. Will attendance capacity be affected by this move? The players' motivation might go down too.

Lindsay Lohan has purchased the Los Angeles apartment that movie legend Marilyn Monroe once called home. WTF? She is expected to move into Monroe's former two-bedroom apartment after her treatment is completed. A neighbour at the El Palacio building says: "We were all amazed to see Lindsay moving in." Of course, this gal has been a long-time fan of the iconic actress, admitting she tries to emulate Monroe whenever she can - even when it came to entertaining the troops. Has the treatment center really improved her mental state?

Is it over between that hippie boy and O.C gal? Mischa Barton has reportedly dumped long term boyfriend Cisco Adler after nude photos of him appeared online after being found amongst Paris Hilton's auctioned off possessions and posted on parisexposed.com. A source told Us Weekly that Mischa wasn't happy when she found out about the snaps: "They had a blowup. She was furious." A spokesperson for Mischa said: "Mischa and Cisco have decided to part ways. Mischa is moving soon and they both have very demanding schedules." This means both Mischa and Rachel can go boy hunting together again.

New Songs:
1) Travis - Closer [mp3]
2) Kings Of Leon - On Call [mp3]
3) Maximo Park - Our Velocity [mp3]
4) The Cinematics - Keep Forgetting [mp3]

This new song from our favourite Scotsmen is such a beautiful ballad that brings back the good ol' 'Turn/Driftwood' days. Family oriented Southern boys will release a new album soon and judging from 'On Call', we'll be expecting another gargantuan rock journey. Maximo can be really good when they deliver, with 'Our Velocity' showcasing their strong points. Knew about this Cinematics group early last year and finally they will release a debut album next month. They have similarities with the 'Franz/Departure' modern angular rock style.

Noel Gallagher is at it again! He blasted Thom Yorke for brow-beating his fans with his political beliefs and urged him to ditch his serious attitude to music. Noel said: "Thom Yorke sat at a piano singing, 'This is f***ed up', for half-an-hour. We all know that, Mr. Yorke. Who wants to sing the news? No matter how much you sit there twiddling, going, 'We're all doomed', at the end of the day people will always want to hear him play 'Creep.' Get over it." Lol!! Yorke will probably respond to this by writing more scary, depressing tunes..

Kaiser Chiefs have slammed many current guitar bands and believe there was much more decent music in the Seventies. Nick Hodgson thinks that much of the dross is tied in with bands trying to replicate the Arctic Monkeys. He told the NME: "There's so much shit in guitar music at the moment. You imagine an A&R man seeing this bandwagon, jumping on it and signing any old shit with a guitar around its neck. I was watching this film about The Ramones. It got me thinking how everything is so average these days." Yeah, to an extent he is right. But then another Kaiser member claims they are now big shots in the music industry. Too much stage make-up can really hinder their senses.
