Life isn't always rosy for the pretty ones.. Michelle Pfeiffer says her career has been hampered by her beauty. She thinks her good looks have been a curse because she has to work harder to make people believe she can act. Michelle told Allure mag: "It was harder for me to get a good part. When I went to an audition I had to be better because I was beautiful." She was furious when her portrayal was slammed, saying: "My argument is always, 'You know everyone can be damaged. And pretty people can be just as damaged as ugly people or fat people.' " So according to this Catwoman, we are all living in a kingdom of doom deep inside regardless of physical looks.





Lady Sovereign has some choice words on her music rivals. First, she has branded Lily Allen "the biggest chav going" and thinks it is unfair she is attacked in Britain for her sense of style, while Lily is lauded for her quirky dress sense. The S.O.V told Observer mag: "I'm not appreciated. You get some of the media hating people like me 'cause they're chavish but Lily is the biggest chav going and everyone seems to love her." Lady Sovereign has also accused Corinne Bailey Rae of being a "fake" - insisting her sugary sweet songs are "c**p". She was unimpressed by her pleasant personality when they briefly met backstage at a TV show. "I told her she was boring and that she should be called Corrine 'Boring' Rae. I think she's a fake. She's too nice. She sings about life being as sweet as roses but it's not. It's c**p." Lily Allen confessed she hoped Bailey Rae didn't pick up a Brit Award for the exact same reason. All Saints are on the verge of being dropped by their record label after a lacklustre comeback. Their album charted at number 40 and their new single 'Chick Fit' will only be released digitally. A source told the Mirror: "Chick Fit is almost certainly going to be their last single and it will take a miracle to save the band now. They are still technically signed to the label but not for much longer." Sad to say, it's true. Boyzone to do better?

The Good Vibrations event ended with one of the most anticipated performances when these trio boys came strutting in their smart attires. Their set-list include some recent ones [2004] along with their old favs like No Sleep, Intergalactic and Sabotage. A funny incident came when some drunkard dude climbed up the left-side scaffolding and encouraged everyone to put our hands up in the air. Actually thought he was part of the set-up until two security guys tried ever so hard to drag him down. Mix Master Mike is phenomenal as ever as he blew us all way with his turntable skills. Being not so much of a hip-hop fan, seeing so many peeps with oversized jerseys/baseball caps all around creates an interesting environment unlike those from the rocknroll nature. Favourite tune Body Movin' performance was simply jaw-opening to say the least. As they ended the night with Sabotage, it was safe to say everyone had a 'cheshire-cat smile' time. I was fortunate enough to touch Mike D & Adrock at the footpath lane as they were swiftly heading towards a private van after the show...HAHAAHAHA! Hope they'll come back again.

Charlotte Church will ditch her television career in favour of a return to classical music. She said, "I often think 'Oh my God, I was so good at opera, why did I leave it behind? Now that I am older I have a much better classical voice, so you could definitely see me going back to that." Charlotte celebrates her 21st birthday on Wednesday but the party-loving star won't be hitting the clubs. Instead she plans to spend the day quietly at home in Cardiff with her family and Gavin. "For my birthday I've told my nan to get me jewellery. My mum will probably get me things from her clothes shop," she said recently. But an engagement ring from Gavin wouldn't go amiss. "If Gavin gave me an engagement ring I'd say yes - probably - but it's really not a big deal," she said. No surprises, aye.


Mischa Barton has escaped unscathed from a minor accident in her friend Nicole Richie's Mercedes jeep. The actress was borrowing the vehicle and driving it on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard over the weekend when she accidentally collided with a car in front. Mischa pulled over into a nearby gas station to exchange details with the other driver, but damage was limited and no one was injured in the bump. Lucky escape for her. [Accident-Barton]

New collaboration for these Russian dolls. Tatu were proposed to record a song together with singer Fergie. "When we came to studio in Los Angeles, our producer suggested us to sing with Fergie" - says Volkova. "Me and Lena clapped our hands because of such luck!" They are working on a movie titled "In Search of t.A.T.u." about two girls who fall in love at one of their concerts. Their upcoming third album is expected to release around the same time as the movie. Since their past albums have been mostly pop and "sad", the gals stated that their upcoming album is going to be more dance and upbeat. Should be another good one.

Why the sudden rage? Owen Wilson shoved a photographer on Australian's Gold Coast to avoid being photographed with Kate Hudson. He flew in from the US to surprise Kate for V-Day and the two have been staying at the posh Palazzo Versace hotel. Fans who waited for hours at the nearby Pacific Fair Cinema, where he was attending a film screening, were shocked by his violent outburst when he was spotted with Kate. The celebrity couple allegedly walked hand-in-hand to the back door of the cinema, but leaped apart and headed for separate doors when they realised a photographer was present. Wilson then angrily jostled and swore at the local snapper and twice shoved him out of the way as he rushed up the stairs. Perhaps he was guilty of something we don't know..


Now that she's given birth, Jennifer Garner is determined to get back into the swing of things in the bedroom. She is trying to spice up her sex life - by ditching her "granny pajamas." The Alias star started wearing comfy nightwear after giving birth to her daughter Violet 14 months ago. But now she has shed her baby weight and got her toned figure back, she wants to reignite her love life with Ben. A source said, "Jennifer has ditched her unattractive jim-jams and been busy shopping for lacy lingerie." Jenn lost weight by hiking and kickboxing and the couple are planning a romantic vacation before Ben starts work on a new film and Jenn is planning to put her new lingerie into use.
