Matt Damon helped Boston police carry out a raid on a crack den as part of research for his role in new Martin Scorsese film, The Departed. In the new movie, Damon plays a mobster who infiltrates the police force as an informer for his crime syndicate. Being the humble guy, Matt plays down his part in the raid, saying: "I didn't go in until they cleared the house and I was in the back with my bulletproof vest on. But I got an idea of the violent and aggressive world my character is in. All I knew about the state police up to then was limited to the times I'd been pulled over for speeding!" Quite impressive to even put himself in such situations. Kudos to Jason Bourne!

Speaking of which, "The Bourne Ultimatum" shooting has just begun and they are considering a Mexican dude called Gael Garcia Bernal to be the bad guy. Think he looks capable on paper. Read more.. [bourne-ult-bernal].


Orlando Bloom has been spotted out and about with Penelope Cruz in Los Angeles last week, prompting rumours that the two are dating. A source told the New York Post: "they were definitely together and holding hands" but Penelope's spokesperson insists: "they are not dating". There might be some truth in this. Orlando recently split from 'Miss Boring' Kate Bosworth just last month and Penelope ended her two year relationship with 'santa-beard' Matthew McConaughey in June. Not really into Ms Cruz but she should have more spunk than Katy.

This week, Brooke is feeling the pressure from being in the bottom two last time out. Leslie told her that anything can happen in this competition. From being completely safe to being down in the barrel. Next day, T.B had a chat with them in the studio room and slowly started to feel faint. After passing out momentarily and being helped up back to her seat, she screamed at them and said everything was fake. Acting time! Furonda was shocked to tears from that. Jeremy Rowley was in charge of their Acting Class session. Some expressions of bitchy to happy to angry were tested out while mingling around on the stage. Brooke clearly showed how uncomfortable she was in the acting scenario. Back home, Jade tried to help Nnenna deal with her bf who wanted to end things on the phone. The others didn't think Jade was sincerely there, more like making things worse for a strong rival. T.Mail -> "Don't be afraid to wild out!". Three guys from some MTV comedy rap show were introduced for their next challenge. They were asked to be spontaneous in dishing out a line to speak their mind in a friendly bashing rap manner. Again, Brooke was in a blur and couldn't produce a good line. But worse was Jade when she didn't understand the term 'friendly' and mocked her pals with some harsh words which doesn't rhyme at all. Winner of the challenge - Furonda. She chose Nnenna to shoot a simple advert for the next day. In the car, Joenie said Nnenna lacked street smart skills when dealing with her personal relt. Furonda asked Jade why she is so bitchy but Jade says she is just being a realist. Next day, they went to meet with a HIV + lady who spoke about some serious issues. Furonda & Nnenna got to have their say on the commercial. After that Furonda was sent off to shoot a small scene on Veronica Mars, playing an office worker sending a package box to one of the actors and also speaking some simple lines. At night, the next test was coming out with their own words to promote a Cover Girl beauty product commercial with the same ending lines. Sara showed both her glass drink & product below the camera view.. Joenie looked clueless in her movements from bottom of staircase up till the pool side but did average, Mollie Sue was horrible, Danielle held the product sideways.., Nnenna was splendid as usual, Furonda did well, Leslie spoke like a train, Brooke lost her final words & nervous like hell but the best was Jade - prancing around, unneccessarily speaking too much to the extras on set and at finally.. forgot her lines. zzzzzz... Back home, Brooke & Joenie felt they might be next to go. Jade as usual spoke confidently about how great she was and others being afraid of her competition, etc. Judging time. All of them were impressed by Leslie and Furonda this week. Brooke was told about her nervous factor whereas Mollie Sue not really showing her real potential. After some discussion, the first name called out is.. Furonda! Then Sara, Leslie, Danielle, Nnenna, Joenie, Brooke. Final two standing were Jade & Mollie Sue. What the judges didn't like was Jade playing the 'blame game' most of the time and Mollie Sue falling short of expectations when needed for her to step up.. T.B said Jade don't know how to make the right things count and then showed her picture to a sobbing Jade. Which means the 'tribe' has spoken for Mollie Sue to end her journey now.

Miss Romania 2006, Ioana Valentina Boitor, won the Southern Euporean Title. But she should have won Miss World. This lady was 1st runner-up to Miss Czech who looks like a barbie doll but was not as stunning. [ Ms-Rom-News1 / Ms-Rom-News2 ]

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have made a vow to stay together - after treating each other to guns?? They purchased shooters just after they got married a year ago and now he's convinced neither one of them with stray. He says, "We got guns and that helps... She was working on a movie in Louisiana and so we went out and both got guns. She got a Glock and I got a Springfield." Kutcher has found another use for his gun: "It's also good for when the girls (Moore's three daughters) bring boys back to the house; I take them out and show them how to shoot. I actually took this boy that Scout was dating out at our place in Idaho and I would, like, carry the gun around in my side at all times just so he knew... Subtle hints." How original.. They recently met up with Bill Clinton where Ashton was somehow not given much attention as Mr Bill was busy hitting on his wife. Maybe because the guy thought Demi brought her son along.

Baby-shambling production coming soon? Kate and Pete are planning to have children together in the near future, according to the manager of a Dublin music venue. His band played at the Music Factory in Dublin last week and venue manager Eamonn Tucker talked to the couple before the show. Eamonn revealed: "They're very much in love and are planning to either get married here, or at least have their honeymoon in Ireland. They feel very at home here. Kate's just a very sweet girl who's very much in love with Pete. He makes her laugh and they're looking forward to having children soon." How soon is now?

Pete has been offered a job by celeb clinic The Priory - counselling patients! He has impressed doctors and staff so much with his recovery they have asked him to take therapy sessions. Pete is the "perfect role model" for addicts who turn to the clinic for help, and that is why he has been asked to join the staff in a part-time role. After the gig last week, Pete said: "Any time off I have I'll go back to the Priory to see my doctors and the residents, some of whom have become really good friends." That clinic will have their profits three-fold or better if this plan goes through.

UK favourite boy Robbie new track 'Kiss Me' is not a remake of Sixpence '99 song. It is more impressive than the nonsense 'rudebox'. Just think Kylie's album 'Light Years'.
