Kate's continuing contact with Pete has finally got too much for The Kills' guitarist. A source told the People: "Jamie is jealous and insecure about how she still talks about Pete. She is on the verge of being obsessed with him and it got too much for Jamie. He got fed up and suggested they split." Jamie would be better off without her.












Michelle Rodriguez surrendered herself last Sunday afternoon afternoon to begin her six-month jail sentence. The star was booked at 4.33pm at the Century Regional Detention Facility. The overseeing judge has said Michelle will not be eligible for the early release programme enjoyed by Lohan and Richie but the sheriff may have to override the order because of over-crowding. Wow. Will that mean six days or six weeks?

Amy Winehouse has been banned from normal visits to her imprisoned husband after he failed a drugs test. The troubled singer can now only see Blake Fielder-Civil, from behind a glass screen with no physical contact. The move by officials at London's Pentonville prison comes after he tested positive last week for a Class A drug. And now that idiot is making Amy feel more depressed.







Mischa Barton has granted director Lord Attenborough a special privilege - he's the only director she'll pose fully nude for. The actress will only peel off if movie roles require her to pose naked, and even then she'll only bare her bottom half for him. Barton says, "I don't mind nudity. David Schwimmer has revealed that his mother is desperate for him to find a girlfriend. The actor has been linked to Natalie Imbruglia, Tina Barrett and actress Carla Alapont in the past, but admitted that he has yet to find his ideal match. He told In Gear mag: "I haven't even come close to engagement. There was one point when I thought I was getting close with Carla, but again I had my priorities in the wrong place. Robbie Williams spent his Christmas feeding homeless people at a shelter in LA. The singer has volunteered to help for free at the Skid Row charity house. His chef buddy Raymond Terry said: "Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart. Everybody I've taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun." He even brought his guitar and sang Christmas carols. Good for him.

Tara Reid has put an end to speculation over her shock collapse at a Christmas party last weekend (15 Dec). Rowan Atkinson made a mistake of his own when he backed an SUV into an Aspen woman's car. Mr Bean was moving from a metered spot Thursday when he struck the Volkswagen Jetta. "He was backing out of a parking spot and didn't see the car behind him," said police Sgt. Dan Davis. "There was a little bit of damage to the car. He put a ding in it." Davis said the accident was minor, and no citations were issued. The woman would find it very hard to be angry.

Three L.A. County Sheriff's Department employees gave special treatment to actor/director Mel Gibson during his DUI arrest last year. They employees failed to follow proper procedures during the actor's arrest and tried to withhold details of the arrest report. One received a two-day suspension, while the others received written warnings. "The violations resulted from the decision about when and how to release Mr. Gibson from custody," the OIR says.






Ali Larter and longtime boyfriend Hayes MacArthur, got engaged over the weekend, according to People mag. "It's true," a rep for the actress said. "They're thrilled." The marriage will be the first for both parties. No wedding date has been set. Larter has been anxiously awaiting a proposal from him. "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," Larter recently said. "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies." Rupert Everett has launched an astonishing attack on George Clooney, labelling him "not the brightest spark" and his films "a cancer to culture". Despite questioning his intelligence, Everett is also convinced Clooney will one day become U.S. president. He said, "The Ocean's films are a cancer to the world culture. They're destroying us. Jack White has revealed that he is working on three new albums, neither of which will under the White Stripes or Raconteurs banner. He won't reveal what the projects are; while the cancellation of the WS autumn touring schedule meant he had more time to work on them. He also said that Meg never came close to quitting the band but now seems happier after the pair worked on 'Conquest' with Beck. Her solicitor said that she had suffered considerable embarrassment and distress over the story. Pete Doherty is to reveal all about his life with Kate Moss in a new TV documentary. The singer is reportedly negotiating a $100,000 deal with a British channel to make a programme about their relationship. A source tells The Sunday People, "He has promised it will be a no-holds barred chat. Producers are hoping he'll let them use a lot of film he and Kate shot on camcorders. Some of it is really raunchy stuff Kate believed would never be seen by anyone else. There could be a big legal battle over it." Should be tasty.
