It's claimed that Avril cut short her own gig in order to watch the Spice Girls on their Canadian comeback tour. The singer skipped out on a show in Burnaby after just two songs so that she could attend the Vancouver show. Star mag reports: "Avril Lavigne arrived more than an hour late to her free outdoor concert at the grand opening of the Best Buy in Burnaby, on December 2nd, and never apologized for leaving her fans to wait in the freezing, snowy weather." Naughty.

Kate Middleton has moved in with Prince William. She has been staying at the Clarence House for the past two months, with royal staff instructed to allow her constant access. A source revealed, "Kate is so firmly installed there that she has given the keys for her place in Chelsea to her younger sister, Pippa." News that the pair are living together will fuel rumors the couple are on the verge of cementing their relationship by getting engaged. Just a matter of time?

Rupert Everett has launched an astonishing attack on George Clooney, labelling him "not the brightest spark" and his films "a cancer to culture". Despite questioning his intelligence, Everett is also convinced Clooney will one day become U.S. president. He said, "The Ocean's films are a cancer to the world culture. They're destroying us. Clooney's not the brightest spark on the boulevard. He'll be president one day.. if he's straight." Ouch.
Noel Gallagher is the coolest bloke in Britain, according to a recent survey. The singer may have just celebrated his 40th birthday, but he was voted way ahead of the rest. Steven Gerrard was second in the 100 Coolest British Men of 2007 list. Daniel Craig got fourth. Alex Turner came in 10th place. Editor Ben Todd said: "These inaugural awards have revealed some quite surprising results with Noel, who has acquired something of an 'elder statesman' role, topping the poll. It shows that he is someone young people today strive to be like." Can't argue with the results.

Jack White has revealed that he is working on three new albums, neither of which will under the White Stripes or Raconteurs banner. He won't reveal what the projects are; while the cancellation of the WS autumn touring schedule meant he had more time to work on them. He also said that Meg never came close to quitting the band but now seems happier after the pair worked on 'Conquest' with Beck. He said: "If it came to a point where Meg said, 'I don't want to be in this band anymore, it doesn't fulfill me in any way,' then it would be a different story. But she's not saying that." Phew.
