Jessica Simpson has dismissed reports her latest movie is so bad it won't be released in U.S. Cinemas. Her upcoming romantic comedy 'Blonde Ambition', in which she stars alongside Luke Wilson, is allegedly not as good as studio bosses had hoped. An insider told UsMagazine.com, "It is going straight to DVD domestically and will only come out in theatres internationally. The movie is absolutely horrible. It's just a bomb, mainly because of Jessica's acting". But her spokesperson says, "It's definitely a theatrical release". We shall see whether embarrassment ensues.









Amy Winehouse is set to appear as the cover girl of American Vogue next month. She is rumoured to have been personally invited by editor Anna Wintour to grace the publication's front page, after Wintour fell for her unique sense of style. A source told The Mirror, "An order from Anna Wintour is like a royal command and the order was 'Get me Amy'. Anna loved Amy's album so much that she just had to have her. But at the end of the day it's not just about the music, it's about her rawness, her kooky style and her outspokenness. She's very much a one-off - but incredibly talented with it." Best not to smile too much..

Paris Hilton is to star in musical thriller Repo! The Genetic Opera. She has beaten more than 30 competitors at audition to win the part alongside Alexa Vega and Paul Sorvino. Her role will demand singing in styles from rock to opera and is said to have impressed with her vocal skills. Director Darren Lynn Bousman explained: "I have auditioned at least 30 actresses for this role - Paris came in and owned it. She is this role." That guy should seriously consult an ear specialist.










Nadine Coyle has moved on. The singer has been feeling flattered following recent attention from US TV star Dave Annable. They met at a party in LA last week and have since been spotted on a number of dates. A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Dave is a very good looking guy. They are being cautious - people have warned her about having another long-distance relationship. Plus Girls Aloud have a lot of stuff on with a new single Sexy, No No No and then an album." Coyle became single in April. Good luck to them.

Footie woes for Robbie. He is "beyond gutted" after discovering he can't play football for three months. The pop star faces the lay-off from his beloved game after suffering a rib injury during a boxing session to compound his existing knee complaint. Robbie, who plays for his own LA Vale team in Los Angeles, said: "I'm beyond depressed. I'm not playing because of my knee. I've been told I'll be out for one to three months. I'm beyond gutted. And I've got a cracked rib."






Kate Moss' pals have claimed the supermodel is a new woman after "waking up after the nightmare" of Pete Doherty. "Pete's like a drug to her. It's as if she's addicted to him and even though she knows he's bad news, she can't help being drawn to him," a source close to Kate revealed. "Now she's finally kicked him out, she's come to her senses and realised her life is a mess. She's on a campaign to sort herself out and get healthy - and everyone is clubbing together to make sure it succeeds."
