Scarlett Johansson says her charity mission to Indian and Sri Lanka was a humbling experience. The Oxfam ambassador spent two weeks in the poverty-stricken countries working with the relief charity to increase awareness about global poverty and suffering. Speaking about leaving her glitzy lifestyle behind, she told US Today: "It was nice to feel part of the community. It's amazing to come home when you see people living in poverty. On one hand you're thinking, my celebrity life is so surreal, but it's my work and helps me bring awareness to Oxfam." Her next charity mission will take her to Africa and she hopes to visit Liberia or Ethiopia.

Rod Stewart's son - Sean Stewart is being sued yet again. This is the second time he has been sued in just three months. TMZ report that Daniel Refoua is suing Sean for assault, battery, false imprisonment, negligence and intention infliction of emotional distress. The incident happened in January when Stewart and his accomplices "attacked, assaulted, battered, punched, beat, hit, struck, tortured and imprisoned" Refoua. Stewart was allegedly involved in a very similar attack in April. Where's the discipline, Rod?

Jennifer Garner is set to star in a Broadway show. The actress is in negotiations to star opposite Kevin Kline in a New York stage production of 'Cyrano de Bergerac' where she will play a French socialite called Roxanne. This will not be the first time Jenn has appeared on Broadway. After finishing college, she worked as an understudy for a Broadway staging of 'A Month in the Country.' The show will open in October and run for 10 weeks. Jenn was recently said to be planning to launch a TV show for mothers. She was set to reveal all about her marriage and motherhood in the series described as 'The View' for moms.








Lily Allen checked in with fans on her blog at Myspace on Wednesday (Aug 1), discussing her gigs at Glastonbury and the Fuji rock festival in Japan, as well as spending time in New York. Sophie Ellis-Bextor has forgiven Vic Adams. When asked about the Spice Girls' reunion tour, Sophie only had good things to say about her former rivals. She tells the Daily Star: "I don’t think it matters if they're in it for the money, it’s cool they’re back. They have so many good tunes I might even go and see them myself." Sophie's 2000 hit with Groovejet famously pipped Vic's debut solo single Out Of Your Mind to the number one spot.

Chris O'Donnell is to become a father for the fifth time. Speaking the 'Today' show, O'Donnell said: "We've got another one on the way." He then joked: "Yeah, we're just starting to figure out how it works. I think I know why this is happening, but we're really excited about it." O'Donnell also revealed he took daughter Lily on the set of his latest movie. He has just finished filming 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery', a story based on the American Girl line of dolls - something which appealed to young Lily. He said: "She came to the set and hung out for four days." Awww...

Sean Penn's anti-war stance has been praised by Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez during the actor's visit to the South American country. Penn is on a fact-finding tour of the nation, visiting poverty-stricken areas of the capital Caracas, and he spoke with Chavez on the phone. The president publicised the visit by making a televised speech to the nation. He said: "Welcome to Venezuela, Mr Penn. What drives him is consciousness, the search for new paths." Chavez also confessed to being a fan of Penn's work, and said: "he's made great films", and revealing he recently watched Mystic River.
