Film director Wes Craven loves to dream up gruesome ways of killing off characters in his horror movies. The Scream filmmaker says he gets a buzz from thinking about new methods of murder which he can use in his films. He says, "I'd be lying if I said I hadn't taken pleasure in dreaming up ways to kill them. Disembowelling them. Beheading them. Burning them, shooting them and crushing them in garage doors. I've tortured young girls, the buxom babysitters, the well-intentioned boyfriends. All sent to an early grave in the name of box-office gold." Good work of fiction there.

Robbie Williams has given another 1.5million to help disadvantaged young people in his hometown, Stoke-on-Trent. Robbie donated the money to the "Give it Sum" charity which he set up with Comic Relief and said: "I'm glad the little help I give can raise the profile of things like this. I want to be more active in and around Stoke-on-Trent - the place I love and where I’ll eventually return to." Back to the roots, eh?
The shores of Iceland might serve as some of the outside locations for the forthcoming Star Trek movie, directed by J.J. Abrams. The planned production for "Trek" will be the biggest the country has ever seen. The volcanic surfaces of the nation suggest that the production is planning to use it as the setting for a distant planet. The substantially bigger budget means the movie will be one of the first Trek films to be substantially filmed off of US soil. The 11th film in the series is set for a 2008 release.
