Oasis are reportedly going to release former B-side 'Acquiesce' as a single. It was included in their 'Some Might Say' CD single, back in 1995. Looks like it might now be the first single released from the 'Stop The Clocks' greatest hits album. Oasis are also offering fans a chance to be in their next video via a competition on their official website. There will definitely be some lucky chaps out there!

Arctic Monkeys were determined to make life difficult for the media after winning the Mercury Music Prize. Despite being happy to accept the 20K industry prize for their debut album, the cheeky rockers insist their resistance to the mainstream music business will remain as strong as ever - and that includes the press. When asked why the band are so reluctant to be interviewed, Turner replied: "We're doing a social experiment to see if we needed the media or not. Turns out we didn't." After a female reporter asked a similar question to one which had already been asked, he blasted: "You're rubbish. Pay attention. This is why we hate doing interviews." Funny. Their album sales have gone up a staggering 98% after the win. Despite giving away their 20K prize money to charity, the Sheffield band are still benefiting financially. Second album. Bring it.

Wooooo! Bob Dylan's new album 'Modern Times' is amazing! [amazon] I've actually checked out whether they were just his old stuff. Dead wrong. All new tunes from this world class singer/songwriter. The song that connects me the most from first listen is 'The Levee's Gonna Break' [audio]. A head-bobbing session will natually come with it. Liked the way he pushes the boundary where you hope somehow his track would end but it continues to engage your ears. Nice. This is what proper music should be like, and not 70% crap on our current pop world.

Scarlett Johansson guest star in this '50s era' music video.

Here she is at the dinner party aboard Prometej yacht, Venice (31/08/2006)

Earlier in the day:

Nice to know security is tight at the airport these days. Upon her arrival at London's Heathrow Airport this afternoon, Lindsay Lohan discovered that a Hermes handbag was missing from her luggage trolley and reported the apparent theft to Scotland Yard. The handbag containts loot worth over a $1 million. Her rep, Leslie Zelnick said the actress was very upset about losing the bag that contained jewelry and Lohan's asthma medication. It also contains cash, her passport and a cashmere sweater. "She is begging for the return of the items," Zelnick said. "She doesn't care how she gets them back, she just wants her stuff back." Authorities are investigating but have no suspects as yet. Just her luck? There must be some stalker out there who obviously didn't react well to the reports of La Lohan getting engaged..

Charlotte Church has the best real breasts in the celebrity world, according to a poll. The Welsh singer has now taken the Best Celebrity Real Breasts 2006 title - beating Kelly Brook, last year's winner, and stars like Billie Piper. More than 3,000 women voted in the survey to mark the annual Fayreform National Breast Pride Week. Emma Chapman, from Fayreform, commented: "Charlotte really knows how to make the most of her breasts and her body." She said bigger breasts, which the week is intended to celebrate, are on the increase with the average size now a 36C. Hooray for Charlotte! The top two: 1. Charlotte Church (33%) / 2. Kelly Brook (22%).

There will be four more years of David Letterman! He is close to finalizing a contract extension with CBS that will keep him at the helm of "The Late Show With David Letterman" at CBS through the 2009-10 season. Now that is definitely cool!

Emma Bunton could be set for a role in the new Pink Panther film after Beyonce turned down the chance to reprise her role. Fox Films are secretly auditioning for the sidekick role. Beyonce is currently busy promoting her new album and so declined the offer of being in the movie. Cue Emma, who is currently making her third solo album, and having plans to make it big as an actress in the US. She said: "It's my ambition to move into films and that kind of role would definitely appeal." Maybe this lame movie might just be worth watching then.

Anyone seen Lovefoxxx's dress? The CSS singer is appealing for information after her dress was stolen from a show in Manchester on Tuesday (Sept 5). Lovefoxxx wore the garment (pictured) for the first half of CSS's show at The Roadhouse venue, but shortly after her costume change the garment went missing. The frontwoman is believed to be very attached to the piece of clothing and is now offering an unspecified reward for its return. Fans can get in touch with the band through their myspace page [css-myspace]. Free concert tour-ride with these dudes as reward?
