Wooooo! Bob Dylan's new album 'Modern Times' is amazing! [amazon] I've actually checked out whether they were just his old stuff. Dead wrong. All new tunes from this world class singer/songwriter. The song that connects me the most from first listen is 'The Levee's Gonna Break' [audio]. A head-bobbing session will natually come with it. Liked the way he pushes the boundary where you hope somehow his track would end but it continues to engage your ears. Nice. This is what proper music should be like, and not 70% crap on our current pop world.

Earlier in the day:
Nice to know security is tight at the airport these days. Upon her arrival at London's Heathrow Airport this afternoon, Lindsay Lohan discovered that a Hermes handbag was missing from her luggage trolley and reported the apparent theft to Scotland Yard. The handbag containts loot worth over a $1 million. Her rep, Leslie Zelnick said the actress was very upset about losing the bag that contained jewelry and Lohan's asthma medication. It also contains cash, her passport and a cashmere sweater. "She is begging for the return of the items," Zelnick said. "She doesn't care how she gets them back, she just wants her stuff back." Authorities are investigating but have no suspects as yet. Just her luck? There must be some stalker out there who obviously didn't react well to the reports of La Lohan getting engaged..

There will be four more years of David Letterman! He is close to finalizing a contract extension with CBS that will keep him at the helm of "The Late Show With David Letterman" at CBS through the 2009-10 season. Now that is definitely cool!
Emma Bunton could be set for a role in the new Pink Panther film after Beyonce turned down the chance to reprise her role. Fox Films are secretly auditioning for the sidekick role. Beyonce is currently busy promoting her new album and so declined the offer of being in the movie. Cue Emma, who is currently making her third solo album, and having plans to make it big as an actress in the US. She said: "It's my ambition to move into films and that kind of role would definitely appeal." Maybe this lame movie might just be worth watching then.
