Knock 'Em Out

Geri Halliwell is ready to give birth any day now and rumour has it a baby boy is on the way. Unlike her close pal, Geri won't be looking for any exotic names but instead ponders on a "traditional name". A source told Closer magazine: "Geri's been secretly working out names - she's known all along she's having a boy. She's totally ecstatic about the news and doesn't want to be deemed a 'silly celebrity' by giving the child a ridiculous name." That rules out anything to do with fruits, famous bridges, planets, etc.

Noel Gallagher says that the Arctic Monkeys make him feel "awkward". Although he thinks they're a decent band, he's put off by how young the teenagers are. Speaking about Alex Turner, he told Q Magazine: "I like him, I do, and he is definitely a bit of a genius lyricist, but he is still a kid. He was eight when Definitely Maybe came out. What the fuck am I, a 38-year-old supposed to say to that? They make me feel awkward." Being about two decades older does indeed feel weird when facing some teen prodigy who is learning the trade. Wonder what is the term Turner address him as.. Uncle Noel? Perhaps uncles is a bit strong yah...

Usually one who saves his beefs for other rappers; this time, 50 Cent is going after Oprah Winfrey. Talking to The Associated Press, 50 complained that Winfrey rarely invites rappers on her talk show: "I think she caters to older women. Oprah's audience is my audience's parents. So, I could care less about Oprah or her show." Maybe she's not ghetto enough to understand the g-funk language?

Kylie Minogue is to be immortalised in bronze in her home city of Melbourne. Town officials want to pay tribute to her by featuring the statue on the 'Melbourne Walk Of Fame' alongside five other statues of Melbourne heroes. Lindsay Lohan - Seventeen (Russia) May 2006

Lindsay Lohan showed her 'Lady Deathstrike' claws at the home of "X-Men 3" director Brett Ratner, when she discovered that he was in bed with Romanian model Alina Puscau. Ratner gave her the code to his front door but didn't reveal to Lohan about having a significant other. What happens next was of course some catty action when both women confronted each other. "Alina jumped out of bed and went ballistic," a source said. "They started screaming at each other and took the fight first into the living room and then out to the driveway while Brett hid in the bedroom." Too bad he can't pass through walls.
