Avril Lavigne's hellraiser days are over. She's planning a summer wedding with Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley. A more mature blonde-haired and groomed Lavigne appeared at the Kids Choice Awards looking nothing like she did during her 'Complicated' years. And speaking of kids, Avril wants some of her own.. She has told friends to brace themselves for a traditional white wedding at an undisclosed church in Beverly Hills. But the reception will be a different story. The "lovebirds" plan to have circus performers, comedians and "known" rock bands playing during the celebration. Afterwards, they'll jet-to Paris, then a villa in the South of France. Wedding bells soon for this ex-punk rock chick.

Paris Hilton has slammed media reports she will play Mother Teresa in an upcoming film, insisting that the two look nothing alike. Indian film-maker T Rajeevnath has said Paris is on his short list of actresses to play the Nobel Prize winner. The director believes the two share a "facial resemblance" and claims to be meeting her later this month about the role. Speaking about the rumour, Hilton says: "I heard that. I don't think we look alike." But the heiress insists she is an admirer of the late nun: "I love Mother Teresa." That film-maker using her name to get some recognition? Regarding the debut album, Kara DioGuardi - who co-wrote three songs with Hilton, she seems to have found her musical niche. "It's fun music, it's danceable, with elements of Blondie, a little reggae and great beats," DioGuardi says. "She has a very sweet voice, very breathy. It sounds exactly like what you would want Paris to be doing." ... Any of her songs concerning her future kids - London and Annabel? That is a boy and a girl whom she wants their names to be. In Elle magazine, she said: "I can't wait to find a guy like my dad and be together forever and have lots of kids. That's what completes your life. Right now, I'm definitely not ready. I want to finish my music and do more movies. But after I have kids, I don't want to work so much, obviously."

Sean Connery is rumoured to be making a cameo appearance in new James Bond film 'Casino Royale'. He is currently recovering following surgery to remove a kidney tumour and have been offered a small role opposite new Bond Daniel Craig. The role would be a villian. A source said: "There is a role for Sean but it's not one fans will associate with him. It's a small part in an action scene. We are hoping he will do us the honour, it will be fantastic to have a veteran of the Bond films working with us." Is it because they are afraid of the movie getting a bad rating?? No harm seeing Connery kick that newcomer's arse to show who's boss.

Ellen DeGeneres has offered to help actress Jennifer Aniston find the right house in the wake of her divorce. Aniston whined that she still had not found somewhere: "I need a house... You are so good at that though; you find houses like that. You love real estate... I'm looking like crazy." DeGeneres reassured her saying: "This Sunday you and I can go to open houses. I'm going to help you find you something. I have my ears and eyes open. I'm serious I'm not kidding. I'm going to find you a great house." Hmm..will Portia De Rossi tag along?

Robbie Williams is rumoured to be dating a South African model nicknamed 'Slinky' Minki. The Robb-ster met Minki van der Westhuizen at a party in Cape Town - and friends say he is completely smitten with the 21-year-old beauty. A source is quoted in Daily Star as saying: "Talk about instant chemistry. Robbie is a huge star and Minki is a very popular model in South Africa. They had a lot to talk about and got on like a house on fire." The beauty recently split with a South African cricket captain, and is now looking for love again. Robbie - who is in the country to film the video for upcoming single 'Sin Sin Sin' and to play a series of concerts - wants the model to show him the sight during his stay. The source added: "Minki has offered to show him round the country. She is keen - and so is he." Looks like Robb is going on an African Safari trip for some lessons on animal instincts..

As usual, some of the candidates from our Singapore Miss Universe competition scare the shite out of me..like some kind of horror movie. If anyone should win it, I hope it is Jade Seah. None of the rest stand out in order to represent the nation.
