50 Cent has found a novel way to attract potential partners - he is conducting interviews for the role of girlfriend. The unlucky-in-love rapper hopes to eventually give a ring to the successful candidate, but insists potential spouses will face a tough selection process first. He says: "One day there may be a wife, but now I'm just interviewing for the position." What are the kind of 21 questions Fiddy gonna ask? If she likes to window shop or any particular candy shop preference?

Noel Gallagher insists rock is far healthier on musicians than pop, because retired pop stars always end up going mad. Why does he say so? The guitarist drew the conclusion after recent documentaries about boyband stars Take That and Brian McFadden. Noel says: "It's always a funny thing about boy bands. I saw a documentary on Take That and the one on Brian McFadden and the thing about these guys is they all end up mentally disturbed and suicidal. All these boy bands have a couple of lagers, dance around onstage and mime on Top Of The Pops. Take That's Howard Donald said in the documentary that he hears voices at night willing him to fail. To fail at what? You don't do anything Howard." Of course he did. Howard made up the numbers in a famous boy band called Take That and got some moolah for it. The voices may be telling him to fail at...errr....

Lunarin's official album launch gig was a great event. It started off with a support band called The Love Experiment playing some alright, funky songs to keep the crowd entertained for about 20 odd mins. At one point, the band members turned their backs and went close to each other just in front of the drumset. To which they turned round to reveal a cool disco-light plated thingy on their t-shirts to complement the dark surroundings and of course to carry on playing their current song. It was kinda strange that the lead singer/guitarist was quiet all the way whereas the bass player with the 60s glasses was communicating to the crowd and active throughout. After they have ended, a solo performer dude came on with his laptop & electric guitar. We would have guessed he's gonna be those 'Kid A/Amnesiac' kind of performer. Which he was. Playing in sync with a video on screen, he starts his weird musical stuff. Ok he's done. So up stepped the main trio. Usually, their earlier gigs were held in non-sound proof environments especially outdoors so the real impact is not really felt. But this was in a special close-knit studio theatre. And it was just phenomenal. Some familiar tunes include The Tower, Silverpiece & Ariel but a couple of new ones were fantastic as well. The guitarist(Kah Wye) was asked to tell a joke during a minor technical hiccup but instead danced like a hawaiian on a disco floor, which led to Linda asking "Now i want to know how many wants a refund?". Nice one. The band invited a violinist whom they were thankful for the production of their album. I think it's cool that violin sounds can be incorporated into Lunarin's heavy stuff. There were some old folks in crowd who were probably family related. The cookies provided tasted out of this world.
The Apprentice 4 starts tonight. Goodness me there starts another long journey of "You fired!". Read somewhere that up to four candidates will get the sack on one episode. Now that would one to look forward to. Saw the advert and it showed Donald was initially proud to have assembled the best set of business groups but they turned out disappointing him along the way. One of them looked like the 30+ guy from A.Idol who pretended to be 28. Wuz up with that?

After the Spice Girls' reunion dinner, the papers were full of talk of reunion tours and greatest hits albums, but these tales were all denied by various band members who insisted they were solo artists now and that was that. However there were claims that they were telling porkies and that the tour and the album are already a done deal. One paper says that the tour will take place in 2006, ten years after 'Wannabe' first hit the charts, and that each Spice Girl will net 5 million pounds, plus a chunk of the ticket revenue. Not only does the paper report the greatest hits album, but it has a tracklist, too. This includes four new songs, and some old songs that were never released, as well as 15 of their biggest single releases. This is pretty specific information, so it kind of lends weight to the story. Finally they quote a Virgin music source "The company is very excited that comeback plans are underway." And another source told them "All the girls have agreed it's the right thing to do and will announce details later." Anyway, you might want to brace yourselves for an avalanche of official denials, because even if the story is true, surely the girls will want to deny it for the time being so it doesn't take the focus of their solo efforts. Which seems non-existent of course..

When Catherine Zeta-Jones and Charlotte Church met on the set of All*Star Cup, the actress and singer got along so well that they want to work together. Zeta-Jones has invited Charlotte and Gavin Henson to make cameo appearances in her latest movie, a small independent about a gay Welsh rugby player. Additionally, Charlotte will sing the film's theme. Charlotte should also act in the film, maybe as one of the cheerleaders. But then, for the sake of the other innocent part-time actresses, that better not happen. Just in case if they were to get fresh with Gav....
Another boyband reunion? Boyzone set to do a Take That and get together for a reunion tour. Stephen Gately also said that Ronan will join the rest of the band on stage after dismissing the idea back in October. Former manager Louis Walsh is also backing the comeback of the biggest boy band there's ever been. Ronan agreed to the reunion when they met up at Elton John's wedding bash. Stephen said: "We had a long chat about reforming and he is definitely in. He said he can't wait to meet up with the rest of the lads again." The Irish boy band broke up in '99 when frontman Ronan left to go solo. In six amazing years, they had 16 consecutive Top Five hits, memorable ones include - Words, All That I Need and No Matter What. Other members of the group were comanding 50,000 pounds a gig at the height of their success. And they each came away with an estimated 2 million. Stephen admits it's been difficult to get everyone to agree to the comeback - with Ronan claiming he wasn't ready. But now they have, he reckons Boyzone will be back on stage before the end of 2006. He added: "When Take That announced they were reforming it gave us that extra push. Boyzone will reunite for a tour and new track. But I don't think we'll do another album." They should also dress up in their 90s clothings with the same hairstyles from the good ol' days.
Brilliant! Jarvis Cocker is set to release a solo album this summer. The 42-year-old dude has been working on the new material since Pulp decided to take a break back in '02. Reports claim that Cocker deemed the songs unsuitable for a Pulp regrouping so decided to release them himself. Bring it on.
Video of Christina Aguilera's cancelled 2005 tour photoshoot. Very cabaret.
I remembered Liam comparing Franz' Kapranos to Right Said Fred and that was funny as hell. So now Kapranos had something to say about that.. "Liam knows he can get in the papers from being as obnoxious as he can. When I read the Press that surrounded them earlier in 2005, it sounded like an extremely anxious, neurotic young girl at a high school who thought that she had younger, better-looking competition and was just bitching about everything about her." Kapranos added: "I think everybody, the Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, every contemporary band was at the end of some form of vitriol from him." Better-looking competition, ayye? I'm sorry but there hasn't been any band that can overthrow the rocknroll wonderwall pedestal till now. Highly doubtful that bands like Franz, KC & BP can last a decade.
Noel G regrets his rant against KT Tunstall when he associated her with James Blunt. He said: "I gotta say this, I was in Q magazine a while ago slagging off KT Tunstall, and I was kind of shocked at that cos I'd only been speaking to her ten minutes before and I don't really mind her music and she's a really sweet girl." Yup. She's cool alright. "I really didn't mean to lump her in with James Blunt, it's just that she plays an acoustic guitar. I apologise for that cos I thought she was really cool but I was kinda horrified. I was like 'Oh no, I didn't say that?' cos she was alright and she's not as bad as James Blunt. He's rubbish." Spot on. How people can tolerate this crap blunt boy shrieking like a strangled chicken i have no idea.
Robbie Williams and MTV presenter Emma Griffiths have been secretly seeing each other. The couple met when they were both staying in the same hotel following the MTV European Music Awards in November. A source revealed: "Robbie thought Emma was beautiful and she has always loved him so it didn't take long for the sparks to fly. Emma can't wait to see him again, and Robbie seems keen too. She knows there is distance between them but she has her fingers crossed that it might work out." A lucky girl?
