It seems that Emma Bunton is ditching her Baby Spice image for good. She's purging her wardrobe of all her trademark mini-skirts. "I'm getting too old to wear all those little outfits. They're too short and I don't feel comfortable in them any more." The reason? Like most of us mere mortals, she's worried about the old orange peel effect: "I hate those magazines where you see a picture of someone getting out of a car and they've circled the cellulite. I'd be mortified if they showed me like that. So I'm sticking to jeans from now on. Baby Spice is over." But covering up isn't putting a dampener on her love life. She's still loved up with boyfriend Jade Jones. She said: "He makes me so happy. We laugh all the time and he's gorgeous." The baby has finally grown up, eh? And after being in an on/off relt with that lucky bastard for six years, surely there must be some plans to walk down the aisle where two become one..

Yoko Ono thinks Liam Gallagher's devotion to her late husband's legacy is "sweet". Ono was particularly touched when the singer named his baby son Lennon in tribute. She said : "I think it's very sweet that Liam was so influenced by John and wants to carry his memory on his own music. I know people have commented that they look alike but I wouldn't say that Liam looks like John, but it's still very sweet that he wants to carry on John's spirit." You and him and I are gonna live forever...

Keira Knightley was allowed to smoke cigarettes with her mum when she was growing up. She admits her mum is "a bit mental" and says her childhood was unusual, including long chats about sex. The actress said: "My mother and I would always talk about sex. She'd come up to my room and have me roll cigarettes for her and then tell me I had to have one with her. Not the typical mother-daughter thing. But we're extremely close. My mother's a bit mental - in a good way. She's a chilled-out hippie."
Meanwhile, the young actress has done her sexiest fashion shoot to date. Keira, who flashed her right breast in Britain's Esquire magazine, insists she's fine with going topless - but she will never show her butt on camera. She said: "I don't mind about the boobs, but not the butt I'm a woman. There's no reason to do it." Think her mum was still living in her 60s hippie lifestyle during Keira's childhood days. There's something special about this actress; she's got the 'it'. No wonder Robb is trying hard to create an 'advertising space' about himself lately.

Natasha Thomas is out with the video to her new single 'Skin Deep', which doubles as an ad for Lacoste's fragrance touch of pink. The track comes from her album Playin' With Fire, due out next year. Check out her video and making of.

Sunderland art rockers The Futureheads will round off a triumphant year with a brand new EP on Nov 28. 'Area' features three tracks - the title track, Help Us Out and We Cannot Lose. Like a typical 'heads song, can't seem to stop listening to it. Must be the scottish accent. It's always fun to hear that accent during interviews with f***erson, moyes & gordon strachan.

Pete Doherty is going berserk after claiming someone has stolen his passport. The Albion singer is desperate to find it so he can jet away to New York to be with Katy. Pete, who is currently living at a hotel in East London, is "furious" at the passport's loss. A close pal revealed : "He thinks someone has pinched it so he can't meet up with Kate. He's driving himself, and everyone around him, loopy. He's been ringing up all his mates accusing them of taking it. He's paranoid and convinced some people are doing all they can to keep him from Kate." Although back to work with modelling assignments, Kate has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Pete and whether it's over or not. Speculation has it that someone was paid to make sure he stays apart from the supermodel. Now who might that be?

Meanwhile, Kate Moss forthcoming move to her rural retreat in Oxfordshire, England, has upset local residents who are dreading her arrival. Residents in the idyllic area have put up with Moss' all-night parties and drum-playing sessions in the past, but fear her permanent move there from London will lead to an endless stream of noise pollution. Despite her recent spell in rehab, many locals are concerned. One neighbour said, "The whole atmosphere of the place has changed. I have been disturbed many times late at night by her parties. She was bought a drum kit for Christmas last year (04) and kept everyone up banging it. "This is a village where people come to enjoy the quiet life. It's not a place for someone like her." What is a modern girl to do?

Tatu's next single will be "Friend Or Foe." The video was shot in the canyons just outside of L.A. where the 1960s Batman series and many Westerns were filmed. Tatu shot their video in the Los Angeles suburbs in Oct, directed by James Cox. In the video, Yulia shows her talents playing the piano and then joins Lena by the microphone in a cave, surrounded by their band. No release date of the single has been set yet. This is a quality song. There are many potential singles to choose from, from the brilliant album.

howdy folks
i wanted to write to let you know where i'm up to with album three. we're not far off now! i am glad to report i have completed writing the album. the track listing posted on the site by a fan unfortunately isn't accurate - to be honest i haven't settled on my final list and i haven't chosen the album title just yet either. that being said, there are around 10 tracks that are certain and i have now got to select the final couple to join them. this is easier said then done as i have written over 70 since i started writing this album 12 months ago! some titles are Me and My Imagination, The Distance Between Us and What Have We Started.
by the end of october i'll decide what the first single is as there are three contenders and i keep changing my mind about which is my favourite. i am expecting to release early next year.
i can't wait. it's been a long journey to get to this point but the hard work has paid off and i'm super happy with the way the whole album is shaping up.
thank you so much for being so loyal. i am a lucky girl.

Sophie delighted her fans this week when she popped onto her website to answer their questions, and revealed some information about album no. 3 in the process.
She wrote: "the new album is coming on a treat. the sound is pop, of course, but i think it has moved on from the last two. i've been experimenting lots with quirky vocal lines and subtle hooks. we'll see how it turns out. around 30 tunes have been done but i want to keep writing for a bit longer. the album will definitely be out next year. first single autumn at the latest. please wait for me. it's so important to me that this album is my best."

Cheryl Tweedy has been warned by the other members of Girl Aloud to stop slagging off Charlotte. Apparently, they are worried it will hurt their sales. Cheryl hates Charlotte and always slags her off at every opportunity. She has slagged off Charlotte for "copying their sound" and its gone on from there. But then, she once sang - "we're gift-wrapped kitty cats, we're only turning into tigers when we gotta fight back"...

Paris is Burning is hotel heiress Paris Hilton's upcoming debut album, being released on her own Heiress Records label. The album is set to be released in 2006. Scott Storch has told MTV that a "hot" new single can be expected around Christmas time and the album will be out early next year.
What the hell is this girl up to? Maybe she's inspired by Hilary & Lindsay's music success..But she definitely won't mind at all if the album sales got screwed up.

File-sharing service Grokster will stop distributing software that allows users to copy songs without permission. The settlement, announced by the Recording Industry Association of America, a trade group that represents the U.S. recording industry, comes four months after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Grokster and other Internet file-sharing networks were encouraging copyright infringement.
Grokster, in a note posted on its Web site, said the company "hopes to have a safe and legal service available soon." It added, "There are legal services for downloading music and movies. This service is not one of them." Grokster may well follow the 'Napster' route. The rep from the company indicated that it would be relaunched as a legal service, called Grokster 3G.
"It is time for a new beginning," a statement from the company reads. "While today marks the end of the Grokster of old, we hope to have a new, next-generation Grokster - a lawful service that respects copyright - available soon." This month, a Hong Kong man was given a three-month jail sentence for sharing movies using the Bit Torrent network.
