Resurrection

Nicola Roberts has branded Pete Doherty an "a**hole". The Aloud member thinks the rocker's behaviour is deplorable and believes he should be locked up. She told OK! mag: "I still don't understand why people print his picture. What he gets up to is really bad. When someone like Pete is being portrayed as this super-cool rock star, it's awful. How many times has he been caught with drugs and he still isn't in jail? It's disgusting. He's an a***hole as he shouldn't be doing what he does in front of young people." Nicola Nicola... you only see one side of the coin.

Robbie Williams was a winner at bingo this week. The singer joined Dita von Teese for a charity tournament hosted by Erica Vittina Phillips at Hamburger Mary's bar and grill on Wednesday. Robbie was the first to shout 'Bingo' after all his numbers came in and his prize was a Diane Merrick leopard-print handbag. Proceeds from the evening went to a charity helping to fight breast cancer. Robbie has been indulging in innocent recreational activities of late. Last month, he posted a bizarre video on the internet claiming he had found God. Has he got any saner?

New Indie Tunes:
>> The Dead 60s - Desert Sun [mp3]

>> Arctic Monkeys - The Bakery [mp3]

>> Nine Black Alps - Burn Faster [mp3]

Those Dead 60s boys are back with a new album. Their awesome track is full of swaggering beats all throughout. Arctic clan have done it again with another beautifully crafted slow number about a lost opportunity with a stranger. N.B.A from Manchester have released a new album and looks a decent band to explore further.

Kate Moss is reportedly planning a tribute song for Amy Winehouse. Since the troubled singer has been in and out of rehab for cocaine and heroin addiction, it might encourage Amy to hear that former user Kate is planning a tribute song. A friend of the supermodel revealed that she listens to Amy all the time on her iPod. "She knows her voice is nowhere near Amy's - but thinks she could do a song that would be like a tribute to Amy, inspired by her," says Kate's pal. Looking for a new drinking buddy?

Nicole Richie is planning to wed that small time punk boy before she serves her jail-time next month. She is set to spend four days in the cell soon and is expecting a child later in the year. A source close to Nicole has now said: "She does not want wedding pictures of her in a big old white dress, with a big old pregnant belly." The source claims Nicole is planning to get married, spend a few days on a honeymoon then check into the L.A county jail at Lynwood on 28th Sept. It won't be a small, intimate affair as the guest list has already reached 200. Everything's the rush, aye?

Gwen Stefani has said she "can't wait" to have another baby because she enjoyed her first pregnancy so much. Gwen gave birth to son Kingston in May last year - but doesn't want to repeat the experience of combining pregnancy and a world tour. She told InStyle mag: "I can't wait to get pregnant again. It's so fun and consuming and romantic. I'm in a race to have another, but I don't want to do it while on tour." She will put a reunion with No Doubt ahead of plans to have a second baby."I want more children but I've unfinished business with No Doubt first." It's best she gets back making real quality music with that band. [Gwen-BabyPlan2]

Daniel Craig was in Siena, Italy, to take in the Palio horse race as camera crews captured the race on film for the 22nd Bond movie. [DC-Siena] Craig was a spectator and likely won't be in any of the bareback horse race footage shot by 14 strategically placed cameras. The race is expected to be incorporated into action sequences to be shot later. Mayor Maurizio Cenni said the integrity of Thursday's running would be maintained. "We have imposed extremely rigid restrictions on the production, and there will be no crossover between the race and the action scenes," he said prior to the race. While the plot is a closely guarded secret, Italian media reports indicated the Palio will serve as a backdrop to a scene in which Bond chases the villain across Siena's rooftops. The movie is expected to be released in fall 2008.
