Well, well, well.. Ewan McGregor was offered the James Bond role before Daniel Craig, it has been revealed. Martin Campbell, director of Casino Royale said: "I think he got another job or decided he didn't want it." He wasn't totally convinced Daniel would live up to the standard set by previous Bonds. Ewan previously said that playing Bond might be fun but could be too long-term. It's a shame he refused this huge offer. There won't be any disappointment from the public eye then unlike what is happening currently with Craig.



Jack/Meg White should be smiling about this.. Nick Valensi and his wife, Amanda de Cadenet, welcomed twins - one boy, one girl. These are the first kids for the couple, who met five years ago on an MTV shoot and were married secretly on a beach in the Bahamas. De Cadenet, also has a 14-year-old daughter, Atlanta, from her 1991 marriage to Duran Duran bassist John Taylor. Looks like a potential rock n roll duo in two decades time, aye?

Lack of confidence? Robbie Williams told Take That he wouldn't tour with them as he feared the fans wouldn't want him. The remark is further proof of Robbie's ego becoming increasingly fragile. He recently met up with his old bandmates halfway through their reunion dates. Also, Robb's new album had mixed reviews. Is the bad boy past his prime, we wonder.

Kate Moss is rumoured to be pregnant with Pete Doherty's baby, according to his uncle Phil Michels. He said, "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant." He claimed Pete called him from Italy, to say Kate had had a scan. "They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited," he added. Phil says the couple are now planning to tie the knot. "That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage," he said. Phil dude telling truth? We'll just have to wait for confirmation from the official lady.

This is a new track from Robyn and she sounds like a modern day version of Cyndi Lauper. Yup, there are definitely some similarities. Argueably the best pop song from Elize, 'Rhythm Of Love' can be placed on the same pedestal as Kylie's Chocolate. This girl is already a powerhouse in her homeland but then, she would probably have little recognition for the MTV crew being Dutch and quite unknown. Having listened to 'Ice Cream' few months back, New Young Pony Club returns with another groovy disco-indie product called 'Tight Fit'. There is something special about it that so appealing to the ears. A slight adjustment from the original song, Le Disko Version 3.0 makes an already gigantic indie track leap into another level. One song that can match its greatness would be 2004's 'Take Me Out'.

Hard to believe this. Killers' guitarist Dave Keunig has revealed that their new album was highly influenced by Coldplay. He told aolmusic: "We all listen to our favourite bands and are inspired on the drive to the studio by whatever's in our car. I guess maybe we're trying to be just as good as Coldplay. You know, we use them as an influence, too." Meanwhile, Brandon Flowers revealed that 'You Only Live Once" also had a huge impact on him. He said: "The very first song on the third Strokes album is a perfect pop sensation and that made us (try harder). I remember playing pool and that record came out and listening to it over and over." Yeah, he's a huge fan of Strokes but.. Coldplay?

This week, Jade and Nnenna became very close friends and got the others noticing. Being in bottom two didn't faze Jade a bit. Their next task was to meet George Wayne for a mock paparazzi interview. He tried to be as upfront as possible towards them. Jade's headwrap "just a jade style" & racial butterfly comments seemed arrogant to him. Danielle told him she was stubborn, Sara don't mind sacrificing relt. matters "all or nothing", Joenie was told she's not really sexy, Furonda acted like a 'chiva lion?' and Nnenna seemed a complex creative and kinda snobbish to him. In the post review, Joenie was the truest/special, Furonda handled it well, Danielle needed to improve her speech, Sara wasn't sure if she wants it, Nnenna can handle the pressure, Jade's dagger eyes needed to be balanced with a little humility. Back home, Sara & Joenie persuaded Danielle to fix her gap tooth. So she called mum and was told it was her call. And thus, she went back to the dentist to improve her gap condition which turned out good. Back home, Sara spoke to her bf about 'not wanting to win it enough' comments she was getting and then told the camera she wants to change that perception. Next session was in some dining room. A drag queen Tyra appeared and the real one came out to confront him.. Best way to solve this problem..they are going to Thai-land! After reaching their destination, Joenie read out a Learn Thai book and said 'sawadika' & 'tau-rai' (how much?) to the rest. Their new house is much more grand than the one back in US. Spa-treament winners, Jade and Nnenna are introduced to Thai-style massage treatment. The others will be assisting the local massaeus. Furonda used one finger to massage Nnenna's leg.. haha. Joenie was serious in learning the Thai massage. T.Mail = "get some tail?". They were brought to a floating market where the photoshoot will be above the river dressed as mermaids. Dead fish/weed were attached to them and held upside down. Nnenna was average. Sara 'scared guppy in a fishnet' but eventually turned beautiful. Furonda 'fish bait' look.. but did ok. Jade, Joenie and Danielle did very well. Back home, Jade didn't know who were the vunerable ones for the next cut as anything could happen. Judging time - they were told to sell themselves through a self-made speech that will be memorable for the judges. Joenie 'smile is the sword to beauty' is so cliche, Jade contradicts herself, Sara said she is intelligent and use it in all aspects of her life?? Nnenna gave a 'Miss Uni' super long speech, Danielle said some cool descriptions (long wriggly hair/long legs great for runway) about herself, Furonda thinking long looking at the top then said some cliche phrases. Judges like Danielle's speech best.. All the photos were great. Most were impressed with Danielle's presence. Joenie is improving fast, Nnnenna didn't step-up from usual high level, Furonda looked clueless at times, Sara/Jade were great and should be safe. First name called... Danielle! Then Jade, Sara, Joenie.. Last two were Furonda & Nnenna. One of them always had brilliant photos but now is just bland. The other improved a lot but the judges were still unsure whether she can be top model. And so.. Furonda needs to work on her appearance/personality next time. Goodbye Nnenna.

The tide is high enough for Kirsten Dunst to play legendary Blondie star? According to Variety columnist Liz Smith, Kirsten is considering playing Deborah Harry is a new biopic about the Blondie star and the band. No official news yet but it is sure to be met by mixed reactions from the bands' fans. Expect Daniel Craig level anti-Dunst feeling if the stories are true!

Ashton Kutcher has vowed to his wife Demi Moore that he will never allow her to get Punk'd. Kutcher is famous for setting up celebrities with elaborate Jeremy Beadle-style pranks for his show but Demi Moore will never be a victim. Actress Jill Wagner, who used to help Kutcher to set up pranks for the show, said: "There's no way Demi will ever get Punk'd. No way. They made a pact that he'd never do it. "And because they live together there's lots of things she could do to make his life hell if he ever did!" Hah. She's wearing the pants and he knows it.

Morrissey's recent support act has blasted the singer for his behaviour towards them on a recent tour. Guitarist Patrick Krief from The Dears said: "Opening for Morrissey was a sad sight... being asked to leave the building when he's crossing the corridor or being told not to look directly at him made me sick." Krief admitted that "sometimes it's better not to meet people you admire.. seeing what success can do is pretty painful." Maybe the reason for Uncle Morr behaving that way was because he didn't want to tell this Patrick what was in his mind. Like "You guys suck." It would definitely hurt their egos; being in a small time band.
