The set features guests as longtime collaborator Eminem, 50 Cent, Method Man, Nate Dogg, Obie Trice and his D12 cohorts. The album’s laced with murder, tales of encouraged suicide, and names of deceased legends, seems content in ignoring the club scene. Is Proof showcasing his own ideas of devils' nights, pistol pistols and fight music? Will people be 'under his influence'?

Creatives at fashion house Prada are convinced that Tom Meighan, Serge Pizzorno, Chris Karloff and Chris Edwards got 'haute couture' potential. I fully support their direction for this Prada situation. No test transmission needed. Their I.D. branding would be as hot as the 'troops on fire'.

Ashlee Simpson is "so excited" about her new album, which she's calling In Another Life. "It's all so near, and I have a bunch of songs I really love," she said of the LP, due in October 18. One of those songs, first single "L.O.V.E.," she said is "just about me and my girlfriends going out, not needing a man in our lives." She hasn't planned a video for that song just yet. Hopefully this new album won't be a pale 'shadow' of her first one.
