Nicole Kidman has offered troubled actor Russell Crowe her support in his upcoming court case.
The actress revealed she has spoken with the New Zealand-born actor, now based in Australia, since he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a hotel clerk and will be there to help him in his case. She said: "I've phoned him and talked with him"
"Russell and I have walked a parallel path in terms of our careers and coming from Australia and trying to navigate our way through the world."
"We just do it differently, but I'm always there for him"

Burt Reynolds still regrets turning down the chance to play James Bond, 30 years after he was offered the role. Producer Albert R 'Cubby' Broccoli approached him about playing the spy when Sean Connery quit in the 70's.
Burt told Jay Leno: "Cubby came to visit me and said, 'We want you to play James Bond,' and I said, "An American can't play James Bond. It just can't be done".
