Claudia Schiffer blames actresses and singers for the death of the supermodel culture. The catwalk queen believes the fame herself, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford enjoyed in the 1990s is at an end because advertisers now prefer using actresses and singers. She says, "In order to become a supermodel one must be on all the covers all over the world at the same time so that people can recognize the girls. That is for now, not possible, not least because the advertising industry is very much taken nowadays by pop stars and actresses. Supermodels like we once were don't exist anymore." Maybe Schiffer and her fashion mates should start a new revolution?

Jennifer Garner was so worried about injuring her breasts during fight scenes for new movie 'The Kingdom', she banned the cast from hitting her in the chest. She plays U.S. Special Agent Janet Mayes in the action thriller, and underwent grueling training in preparation for the role. Garner admits she was very protective of her bosoms, because she was still breastfeeding Violet at the time. She says, "It was so down and dirty that I had scratch marks that we had to cover up on my face for the next few days. But they had to stay away from my boobs. That was the one sacred thing. (They) could go for my head, pull my hair, just not the boobs." A good advice for those mummy actresses out there.

Lily Allen got off to a bad start with her new neighbor after they had a bitter exchange of words over a parking space. The incident happened last week when she parked her Mini Cooper S. in her neighbor's private parking space. The singer had nothing to smile upon when the owner of the parking bay approached her and started jabbing his finger at her. According to an onlooker, she got out of the car and "asked him what the hell he was going on about." "The man looked a bit surprised but continued laying into her, saying she was selfish and generally having a go," the onlooker said, adding that Allen resented by "screaming at him, telling him to shut up and to treat her with some respect." Maybe he's a hardcore metal fan and hates ska-pop.

Klaxons have won this year's Mercury Prize for their debut album,' Myths Of The Near Future'. The Klaxons, a three-piece from south-east London who have only been together for two years, beat stars like Amy Winehouse and the Arctic Monkeys to the 20K prize. Well done, rave kiddos.

Kate Middleton has quit her part-time job at Jigsaw to pursue a career as a professional photographer. She has worked three days a week as a junior buyer at the fashion chain for just over a year but a friend of Kate's told the Daily Mail: "Kate has become increasingly frustrated working at Jigsaw. It was a job of convenience, a stop-gap. When Kate graduated she was keen to do something in the art world but that didn't happen. She wants a new challenge and is committed to becoming a photographer." The source added that Kate is already approaching galleries to exhibit her mostly abstract work. [KM-PhotoJob]

KT Tunstall recently went busking to raise money for a good cause. She returned to her roots by performing on the steps of the Buchanan Galleries shopping centre in Glasgow. KT's street gig raised 270.69 pounds, which she plans to donate to the Nordoff-Robbins music therapy charity. "Music is a really special way of helping disabled children," Tunstall said. "I have a deaf brother who loves playing drums because he can really feel it and gets a lot out of it." She added: "It's so different to when I first busked. In between every single song, I felt like I had to say the money wasn't for me as I genuinely needed the cash before." Will be looking forward to 'Drastic Fantastic'.

Has Kate Moss found a Pete replacement with even more party stamina? She treated her mystery fella to a 30-hour bender at a friend's house over the weekend - before heading straight off to work. An insider told the Daily Star: "Unlike Pete, she can have a wild weekend without it affecting her work commitments. It was very impressive. She partied for almost two solid days and then spent a day in fashion meetings without time for any food. She certainly has a lot of energy for someone who eats so little." Impressive stamina.

Led Zeppelin's concert promoter Harvey Goldsmith has fuelled reports the group are planning to reunite for the first time in 27 years - he's warned fans not to buy bootleg concert tickets. He says, "There have been at least four events advertised which I suspect either don't exist or where no tickets are on sale or indeed dates finalized. We are concerned that the public will be fleeced. The bottom line is that unless official adverts have appeared for concerts, tickets are not on sale. Do not buy from unauthorised sources".
