Jaime Pressly says she is loving motherhood to her seven-week-old boy. She told People, "I used to rock my Cabbage Patch dolls to sleep every night when I was little. It's all I've ever wanted to do." The actress is preparing to go back to work as a new mother and is dreading the time away from her new little guy. She said, "I know it's going to be hard. If I just go to the gym or the office for a couple of hours I miss him. Going to work will be tough." The doting mother added, "He's just a joy. Smiling and easygoing. I guess that means the next will be a devil." Will there be any more kids in their household? Jaime is counting on it.









50 Cent will star alongside Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in their upcoming movie Righteous Kill, according to reports. The rapper is in talks to play a drug dealer in the crime thriller about two detectives tracking a mass murderer. It will be the first time 50 will be seen in a film since "Get Rich or Die Tryin" in 2005, based on his life as a former drug dealer. Director Jon Avnet is set to manage the $60 million project, which will see Pacino and De Niro act alongside each other for the first time since 1995 film Heat. Awesome line-up there.






The Verve have reformed for a series of UK concerts later this year. The Bittersweet Symphony band first split in 1995, before reuniting briefly in 1996, and then reforming again in 1997. They last played together in 1999, although guitarist McCabe had quit the year before. The Verve will play two gigs each in Glasgow, Blackpool and London in November. A statement reveals the band's simple intent: "Getting back together for the joy of the music." NME states that they will return to the studio later this year. Do they still have it in their souls? Just one more to go? Daniel Craig has hinted he will quit playing James Bond after shooting the next film. The actor insists he doesn't want to make "spy films" forever and is interested in a variety of roles. Craig said: "I don't just want to make spy films and I've never made movies just for money either." Bond 22 is due for release in November 2008. Marc Forster has been appointed as the director. He said: "I have also always been a Bond fan, so it is very exciting to take on this challenge. The new direction for the Bond character offers a director a host of new possibilities and I look forward to working with Daniel Craig." Would prefer a cool 007 rather than a hyper-crazed version.








She's been found out again. Lindsay Lohan reportedly had cocaine and nearly twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system when she was arrested after crashing her car last month. After being charged with DUI after smashing her car in Beverly Hills, she checked into rehab facility Promises. According to TMZ, Lohan was heavily intoxicated on both cocaine and alcohol at the time of the accident. Beverly Hills cops are currently sending reports on the Lohan case to the L.A District Attorney's Office for consideration. [LL-Coke.Issue]










Lily Allen has been arrested for allegedly attacking a photographer outside a London nightclub. The singer attended a police station in central London by appointment. She was released on police bail after being questioned over an alleged assault on a male in his 40s near the Wardour club in London's Soho on March 13. Scotland Yard said: "At 9.30am yesterday, a 21-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment. She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. A system that makes three dimensional images solid enough to grasp has been unveiled by Japanese firm NTT. It could let businesspeople shake hands from across the globe or allow museum visitors to feel precious exhibits that are normally out of reach. The prototype Tangible 3D system has a display that creates lifelike images appear in front of a flat screen. It creates the illusion of depth by showing slightly different images to each of the viewer's eyes. Attached to the display is a haptic glove where a user's hand is touched by numerous force-feedback components to make it feel as if it interacting with something solid. The system can also translate real-world objects into virtual representations which means that if the object being filmed is moved, the three-dimensional image also moves in real-time and the user will feel the movement with their hand. NTT engineer Shiro Ozawa said, "You would be able to take the hand, or gently pat the head, of your beloved grandchild who lives far away from you." Nice.

Kristanna Loken hates being unable to wear pretty shoes - as her size 11 feet mean she has to rely on "drag-queen stores" for her large footwear needs. The Terminator 3 star wishes her feet were much smaller so she could squeeze them into expensive designer creations like her female Tinseltown contemporaries. She says, "I do not have size 12 feet! They're size 11, thank you very much, and don't make them any bigger. At that size, I can't wear Manolo Blahniks. Drag-queen stores often have what I'm looking for." Christina Aguilera has revealed her plans to venture into acting. The singer told reporters that she's reading scripts in order to find the right acting role. At a press conference in China, Aguilera said that she has no plans to rush the rather risky transition. "I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be acting. It is something that, when I attempt to do it, I want to do it right so it's important for me that I do choose the right first role for myself." Paris Hilton has vowed to open a "halfway house" for female offenders upon her release from jail. She wants to help her fellow inmates build their own life outside the prison walls, saying: "These women just keep coming back as they have no place to go. It would be a place to get food and clothes." After serving 23 days of a 45-day sentence for a probation violation, this woman is finally freed. Prince William and Kate Middleton may have reignited their romance. The pair have publicly reconciled at an army bash earlier this month following a series of secret meetings. During the party William was said to have followed Kate around, before taking her onto the dance floor. He reportedly revived his relationship with Kate after seeing her carousing with other men. Sources claim that the Prince was reminded of what he was missing after Kate was spotted partying at various London clubs. Joss Stone insists she "deserves a punch" for attacking pop star Christina Milian over a misunderstanding. Stone heard Milian had been bad mouthing her in an interview and immediately went on the offensive without contacting the singer first. After her public attack, Stone realised her source had been lying to her and quickly contacted Milian to apologise for her actions. She told Complex mag, "The person who told me is a complete w**ker. "I did feel bad, so I called Christina to say sorry. If I'm in the wrong, I'm the first to say I'm wrong. I deserve a punch for it, to be honest." There would be some willing volunteers for sure.

Hand model Catherine Frances Scott [CFS-profile] is suing a New York building owner for at least $1 million in damages after getting her finger caught in a door. Scott said she was making a living with her hands while waiting for her big modeling break, but her dreams were dashed when a door slammed on the tip of her finger, nearly separating it from her hand. She is now suing the building's owner, Knocklofty Management, contending the door was faulty and the company was guilty of negligence. George Clooney has joined a campaign to halt development plans in a small Italian town. The actor owns a villa in the lakeside town of Laglio and is opposed to plans to the make the town more appealing to tourists. Mayor Giuseppe Mantero wants to pave over the town's small public beach and create three new parking areas to cope with a growing number of visitors. However, Clooney thinks that it would spoil the area's unique character, saying: "If this plan goes ahead it will completely change the appearance of the town and the lakeside. Lisa Snowden was an ex of Clooney but now she has found someone new and just as famous. There was some solemn flirting going on between Bruce Willis and Lisa Snowdon at the premiere of Die Hard 4.0. Willis, who gave a rather unenthusiastic interview to the press quickly changed his tune when it came to being interviewed by the TV presenter. "Lisa you've gotta put more ooomph into it" cried Willis, as Snowdon ushered him into the press room. "It's not all about ooomph" replied Snowdon. "Yessss it is" said a cunning Willis. Don't think we really want to know what Bruce wanted Lisa to put more "oomph" into.. Perhaps a new romance might bloosom sooner or later.






Maggie Q loves to get dirty. On the new Die Hard movie, the actress plays sexy villain Mai and she was happy to get "bloodied and gross" for her fight scene with John McClane. She told BANG Showbiz: "I hate it when girls fight and they look too pretty or too smooth. The director made sure it was so unglamorous and so gritty and dirty and hard-core, and I love that and that's real for me. I was so unattractive on set, it was unbelievable." Noel G has picked two interesting choice of names for his unborn baby. It's either Goliath or Gandhi! His girlfriend Sara MacDonald will give birth this summer and Noel wants it to have an alliterating name. He quipped: "I'm thinking of Gandhi or Goliath - just imagine it, Gandhi Gallagher. Anything that begins with a G really. But whatever it is it's gonna be legendary." The two monikers are not the only unusual names Noel is considering for the tot. Earlier this year, he was considering the names Chutney or Gizmo..




Arctic Monkeys have invited English 'punk poet' John Cooper Clarke to write a lyric for their new single. Clarke is one of the biggest names in performance poetry and Alex Turner claims his poems have heavily influenced the group's work. Turner met Clarke when he was 16 when the poet performed at the singer's old pub workplace in Sheffield, England, five years ago (2002). Clarke has contributed a rhyme for the sleeve of the group's new single Fluorescent Adolescent. Sure to be another classic tune.

A new movie about Kurt Cobain is in the works, based on the book "Heavier Than Heaven". The project is being headed by Courtney Love, who bought the film rights for the biography. [HTH-Movie]





Scarlett Johansson has been approached by environmental activist Al Gore to help promote his forthcoming Live Earth gigs. The actress was contacted by him during a ten-day visit to Asia with charity Oxfam earlier this year, with Gore leaving a message on her mobile phone to request her support. It will take place on 7 July, featuring performances from Madonna, Crowded House and The Police in a host of cities including London, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney and Tokyo. She would be a great addition for the event consisting of many oldies.
