Changing Pilots

Does anyone think that the message board postings about "Things guys should do to make girls happy"; "Ways to treat your partner better"; "Solutions to avoid quarrels in a relt" are supremely cheesy?? Understand if we're all in the adolescent stage..

The Departure's next single is "Arms Around Me", later this month. Didn't grasp the brilliance of this heavenly track on the first few spins as there were just too many jaggernaut songs to be in awe with. Not until I was humming an unknown song one day and remembering a cool guitar hook that this song came into the picture. Gonna be a cracker when the public gets to hear it...

Had a very terrible day for 24 hours when Stevie G firstly, rejected a new contract and wanted to move on. That had moi feeling lost and dejected..thinking of all permutations to find the replacement for the captain. The only name that came to mind is Michael Ballack, who is arguably Germany's version of Stevie. Can't sleep well furthermore on that night. The next day whilst coming home, suddenly had a feeling that maybe, just maybe, he can do the impossible and decide to stay in his boyhood club. Guess what? It came true!! To make matters more sweet, he stated that the new contract will contain no rubbish clauses and he wants to stay as long as the club wants him. Ain't that just lovely? Maybe there's a chance to rub shoulders with the Blue-Warriors(not everton mind you!) and the Gooners at the top of the pile competition next season. Rafa now wants Figo & Crouch. No idea why Crouchy is needed....well, you don't question a euro champion manager do you?

Discovered an interesting band "The Dead 60s". Many influences can be found in them...UB40, Franz, The Specials quickly came to mind. You can't say they are ska or indie, so just take a listen and decide on your own.
Has the same vibe that force you to dance silly when listening, like what Franz can do.

Keane's intro in Everybody's Changing sounds very similar to the intro of Erasure's Respect.

Brandon Flowers prefers Room on Fire to Is This It. Surprised that he is adored by many females, maybe it's his charisma on stage as he looks just alright.

The new Apprentice season kicks off soon this month. Book Smart vs Street Smart. A very controversial grouping to some but nonetheless an interesting concept Mark Burnett has come up with. From the previews shown at the end of last season, the street smart contestants do weird things like playing guitars to impress at the boardroom. Gonna be an eye-opener for sure.

-----Oh, it's the other way around - wait.... What's that sound?-----
