Junk Of The Hearts

Take That, including Robbie Williams, have reunited to take part in a documentary about them. All five members have contributed interviews and etc for "Take That: For the Record" to be aired on ITV of all channels, ahead of their greatest hits CD release. For those Take That fans (nothing to be embarrassed about) who went to their concerts, have posters on the wall and cried your heart out when they split up should get in contact with the people involved in this production. Charlotte Church has fallen victim to thieves who stole the shoes off her feet as she shared a taxi home with rugby boyfriend Gavin Henson. She had just left a bar in her hometown of Cardiff when two muggers pulled open the car door and removed her silver platforms. Two guys forced open the back door as the cab was moving off. They went off holding Charlotte's shiny silver shoes like a trophy. The footwear was retrieved when passers-by gave chase. Mum Maria was glad those weren't her best shoes. Think Charlotte-y might engage a huge squad of detectives if her most favourite pair were taken away.

Franz' bassist Bob Hardy never wanted to be a musician, and only joined the art-rock band to silence Kapranos. Both of them attended art school together, where Kapranos was desperate for Hardy to complete his burgeoning rock group and wouldn't let the matter drop. Bob says, "I never really wanted to be in a band. I was a fan of music but never really played. Then I was at art school and became friends with Alex. He asked me if I wanted to have a go on bass guitar. I didn't really, but I had a go to keep him quiet." The big question then would sound something like - "Do do..do do do do do do...you wanna join me band???"

Chrstina was eliminated this week. I think she doesn't have the 'it' to succeed in the modelling industry. Keenyah won the challenge of going around different locations to get advices and tips from fashion store owners. She invited Brittnay to join her in some gala dinner with important fashion people, where Brittnay stole the night with her super outgoing and friendly nature. Keenyah regretted her choice after being anonymous thoughout. Haha. In the photoshoot, the 5 remaining candidates had to find some leaves, branches, mud or other natural resources as part of their attire. Kahlen was fantastic with her 70's style look while Christina did a horrible pose, sitting down with one leg on the rock. At the evaluation process, Naima showed her true personality, Brittnay was still in her 'party' mode and Kahlen impressed the judges with her knowledge of the modelling industry when the contestants had to evaluate each other. In the end, Christina's lack of something special got her the cut and also saved Brittnay for another week.

Angie, Alex and Chris were a total shambles. Alex was the project manager who has to come up with some gadgets-induced fashion wear for current teens. Chris lost the assigned credit card and has to wait the next day standing for about 1-2 hours at the store. Luckily, someone found the card. Angie was involved in the presentation preparation which she badly managed. The models came in and one of them forgot to bring along an important jacket item. 20 minutes for all of them to reach the destination. Angie did a very poor presentation, stammering now and then. The other team had no problems at all, except for Craig and Kendra having a little squabble. In the boardroom, Chris knew he was wrong to misplace the credit card but he wasn't at fault for the presentation. Alex was told that he's a winner but became a loser when he switched teams. Haha. Without any surprise, Angie was fired...

Kylie Minogue's favourite bra is up for sale on eBay to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Bidding has currently reached £7,500 for the signed black and pink item out of Kylie's Lovekylie range. The Daily Mirror is auctioning the bra to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this month. The auction closes 3PM on Tuesday 11th October. It's 'never too late' coz we still got time...

Paris Hilton has announced she called off her engagement to Paris Latsis because she is not ready for marriage. She was worried that she was rushing her relationship and feared it would end in divorce. Paris said: "I have seen the break-ups between people who love each other and rush into getting married too quickly. I do not want to make that mistake." Good that she realises it is not a 'simple life' after all.

Charlotte Church has vowed to retire from music when she has children with boyfriend Gavin Henson, and is already planning their life together. She is desperate to start a family with the rugby hunk, and insists they will have the most beautiful children in the whole of Wales. "I definitely see myself having kids with Gavin - he will make a great dad and I will be a fantastic mum." The sexy soprano hates the idea of juggling family life with a gruelling pop career. She says, "Bugger that. When I get pregnant I'll give up my singing and be a stay-at-home mum." Looks like she is 'finding her own way' into the future.

The TNP stated that radio listeners here don't really fancy 'Tripping'. Most probably because of the low-class punk rock and over-played rnb tracks that has brainwashed them into not accepting new sounds. You got to really indulge in Tripping in order to grasp its superb quality of the arrangements. Can't accept the new direction? Just too bad. Dangerous and Moving should be alright I think based on 'All About Us'. But I think Maddy should just retire and take care of her kids. Her legacy is long gone since the late 90s when she starts to play around with sounds unaccustomed to her.

John Cruyff has to shut his trap about how Jose Mourinho should do his job. He thinks that with the resources available, the blues must showcase flair and free flowing in EVERY game. He should check the stats with his own country's progress. When was the last time a Dutch team conquered the CL or WC or Euro Championship? He probably has forgotten that football is also about having a hardcore defence to get success, which Chelski is known to have at the moment. If Johan wants pretty football, just watch the gooners. It's a disgrace to have high profile names condemning that Portuguese mastermind(In the premiership). And I ain't no blues fan either.

All is wonderful in this life
Dreaming of the son she wants
You should see me in the afterlife
Thinking of the sons so lost

This Californian band We Are Scientists' Great Escape video is a refreshing tune. Not brilliant but has something nice about it.

Wonder if me gal mates stick a finger on their tongues after meals to 'keep in shape'. Maybe they do, but never admit it. There have been stories about stewardess and models doing those sort of things. Well the myth is -
"Bulimia is a good way to lose weight." But the fact is - "Bulimia is a poor weight reduction method. First, it doesn't work and secondly, it is very dangerous and creates an altered biochemical state predisposing one to numerous physiological and psychological problems." There lies this serious topic of eating disorders. Is this just a phase? Could the person with the eating disorder just snap out of it? Eating disorders are not normal phases and are not something that should be ignored. They are serious mental disorders. An anorexic might say, "I could gain weight if I want to." And a bulimic might say, "I could stop binging and purging if I want to." The truth is that people with eating disorders don't have this choice. In many situations if the person doesn't get help, they probably can't stop on their own and may turn a curable disease into a permanent one.
We are constantly bombarded with images of fashionably dressed thin women on television, in magazines and in movies. Articles on dieting and slimming techniques appear in virtually every woman's magazine, yet photos of women in need of either are seldom to be found. The glorification of thinness in our culture has led girls and women everywhere to live in constant fear of becoming "fat." The fear can start at a very early age and is something many women struggle with throughout their lifetimes, going on and off a wide variety of diets that can potentially wreak havoc on their bodies. When taken to the extreme, stringent dieting can trigger serious eating disorders. People with eating disorders may refuse to admit they have a problem. Even the thinnest among them may still view themselves as fat. This problem will exist forever.
