Hey Scenesters
Kylie is currently rushing home to Melbourne, after her weight reportedly dropped to 38 kg (84 pounds) during her ongoing treatment for breast cancer. The singer sparked further fears for her health when her stint with an alternative doctor in Paris, left her worryingly weak. Kylie's parents Carol and Ron are shocked by how much weight she's lost and how frail she is looking. She and Olivier chose her Parisian doctor because he uses a lot of the aromatherapy, oils and alternative therapies she likes. But he is unregistered and Kylie's family are not convinced he's the best person to treat her. They were particularly concerned that Olivier Martinez has left the suffering songbird alone in order to film a new movie. It's best that she comes home for now.
Kapranos turns to Hollywood to inspire his distinctive style, and Robert De Niro is his top fashion icon. He loves De Niro's sharp suits, and insists the actor's snappy dress sense oozes dangerous sex appeal. "I've always loved that sharp look. It's the whole Robert De Niro Mean Streets style, sharp and dressed up. It always struck me as being more dangerous than the Marlon Brando, leather jacket type." At least now I know where he got his fashion ideas from. Robert De Niro's waiting...

ericd102 : Married with Children has to be one of the most underrated songs of all time. It's the perfect britpop song.
dyingonahilltop : Fo' sho'. I thought I was the only person who loves that song to death. It really is the perfect closer too, nothing else could sound that good coming after "Slide Away."
Very few peeps acknowledge the super-bloody underrated brilliance of 'Married With Children'. This song can make you go smiling for days and weeks. The live version is much more superior than the original one.
Ashlee Simpson will be celebrating her 21st birthday at the stroke of midnight Sunday with a performance at the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, the club inside Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace. Her sister Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are expected for the party.
A small clip from Hillary Duff's 18th Birthday party. Not sure what Paris Hilton was doing though.
The Cardigans will release 'Super Extra Gravity' on October 17, which sees producer Tore Johannson return behind the mixing desk following his absence from the group's last LP. Tracks set to appear on 'Super Extra Gravity' include opener 'Losing a Friend', 'In The Round', 'Good Morning Joan', 'Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)' and 'Godspell'. The album will be preceded by the single 'I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer' on October 3. A limited edition of 'Super Extra Gravity' will also be available with a DVD featuring an hour long band documentary and demos.
The Hives are set to return in November with a brand new DVD and single. The band will release 'Tussles In Brussels' - their debut DVD - on November 14 which will feature a twenty track gig filmed in the Belgian capital last year. Also included on the disc will be a documentary, directed by Kalle Haglund, charting the history of the band from their first gig in their hometown of Fagersta, all seen through the eyes of fictional investigative reporter D.W. Johnson. 'Tussles In Brussels' will boast eight promo videos as well, with two of them previously unseen - 'A Little More For Little You' and 'Abra Cadaver'. The Hives release a re-recorded version of 'A Little More For Little You' on November 7 on 7" and download, which will feature 'Abra Cadaver' and 'No Pun Intended' live in Brussels as B-sides.
Moby wrote on his official journal on Wed Sept 28) -> "Ha ha ha. The European Music Award nominations for 'Best Male' just came in, and they are: Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Moby, and Robbie Williams. Ha ha ha. I hope that Robbie wins, as he seems the most deserving (and, well, the only actual european on the list...). I'm just kind of amused to be included on this list at all. And, if for some reason I win, I will give my award to Robbie Williams if he in turn gives his 'Best Song of The Century Award' (for 'Angels', which is a nice song, don't get me wrong) to Joy Division." This guy is weird. He knows about JD??
The Killers have revealed that their new material will make fans "feel dirty". The band already have twelve songs to choose from for the follow-up to 2004's debut 'Hot Fuss'. Brandon Flowers said that the song - 'Higher And Higher' is their follow-up to 'All These Things That I've Done'. He went on to describe a new song 'Where White Boys Dance', saying: "We're holding on to it. It's our ace in the hole. It's a pop song, but when you hear it, it makes you feel dirty. Everybody's going to love it." The band plans to head into the studio in January, but before they do, the band have to narrow down their list of possible producers. Flowers explained: "We have too many. If we could make another record like the first one, then I think it would be successful. But I want to get a producer who will mess with the parts, somebody with different ideas on how to arrange it." Dirty scruffy Kasabian sounds is alright. But Diiiirty X-tina sounds is unacceptable.
Ruud van Nistelrooy's agent has hinted the Dutch striker could be set to leave Manchester United next summer in order to join Real Madrid. Close friend and agent Rodger Linse has reopened the debate over Van Nistelrooy's future by revealing he would like to move one day. "Ruud does wish to play in Spain. It is not a case of 'must', more an urge. When he has the chance, he could move there. And I would love to see him play his football there, too." Indeed, Linse claims Van Nistelrooy has already rejected the chance to earn more money by moving to Madrid. He added: "At some stage, over the last two seasons, Real were very firm about a transfer. They have even put an offer on the table at United. Ruud was going to earn much more money in Madrid but he felt he had not completed his mission at United." Only Adriano or Shevchenko can replace this Ruud-y man. If not, the Glazers can expect an empty and dust-filled trophy cabinet for the forseeable future... Hen-ry has told Arsenal he will not even talk about signing a new deal until after this season. N!xau in a Catalunya jersey is already being dreamt by Juan Laporta every night I think. Maybe this season onwards, Essien+Lampar-d+Maka+Cech can go on long holidays from Thanksgiving Day all the way to Valentine's Day and still see their 'money-money-money-maaaaaaaarney' team sitting at the top.
Courtney Love is desperate to offer her support to Kate Moss, but was mortified when her gifts and messages were returned by the Arizona rehab clinic where the supermodel is reportedly being treated. Currently fighting an ongoing battle with substance abuse, she sent flowers and a card to the $4000-per-night Meadows centre for the troubled supermodel. But staff rejected her offerings, as their patients are not allowed any contact with the outside world. She says, "I was just trying to give her the benefit of my advice. I know something of what it's like to be a single mother in the glare of the public eye. And of course I know what it's like to feel you'll never win the battle with drugs. I just wanted Kate to know she has a friend in me, if she needs one." Wonder what Courtney did next?
Mick Jagger denies ever having used Viagra, as he insists his manly prowess is as impressive as ever despite his advancing years. This 62 yr old dude has no need for assistance when it comes to performing between the sheets, as his incredible stamina shows no sign of diminishing. (Extreme). He explains, "You can only go so far being very charming and funny with women. Then you have to have something else as well. I have never used Viagra. I don't need that." (0_0) This rocker can never be caught 'driving too fast' it seems.
Mick Jagger is also being impersonated by a lookalike fan - who used the Rolling Stone's sex appeal to attract hoards of women. The phony visited NYC nightclub Spirit on Saturday and spent an hour-and-a-half enjoying free drinks and wooing gorgeous girls. But his cover was blown after club officials began to suspect he was younger and bigger than the hitmaker. Club spokeswoman Claire O'Connor said : "The clone was whisked, with three girls, down a back staircase. He asked to stop at the ladies' room on the way out and spent ten minutes in there with three girls." Jagger's spokeswoman Fran Curtis confirms he was not in New York over the weekend. Can that lucky joker be acknowledged as the 'dangerous beauty'?
-Editors sounds a lot like Interpol- This Bullets is an amazing song from them.
White Stripes are to release 'The Denial Twist' on Nov 14, to coincide with Jack and Meg's UK tour. The video for the single will be directed by Gondry, who most recently worked on the video for 'The Hardest Button To Button' with them. He said, "It's going to be a real - how do you say it? - a mindblower. It is based on one day in Jack and Meg's life. It's re-enacting a day when they went to play on the Conan O'Brien show, in a very bizarre way. We see them playing on the stage, then they talk to Conan, and then they take their car and drive amongst giant people, and then they go home and watch their performance on TV. But the whole time, they will be distorted and stretched." Filming for the video will begin this month. A very interesting idea for the video. Sure to hypnotize everyone.
